No one is putting anyone down. Just an observation. Seems, if you are going to compete in "Ballroom Dances", Ballroom dance technique might be a good idea! Ignorance of these techniques produces a sub performance of the dance typical of country rhythm dancers. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings! The dancers put themselves down by adhering to country principals applied to rhythm Ballroom dances.
The subject matter I commented on was "connection" in rhythm dances. Good connection is necessary for social dancers as you stated your platform addresses. Being a foundational technique, it would seem just as important for the ametuer as well as pro.
@@jayhunter9672 If you're going to compete, you likely have a Pro and don't need "social dance online" videos which are primarily targeted at social dancers. I was a competitive American Rhythm dancer in my day as well so I'm not ignorant. I'm happy to cater to the social dance audience by hopefully making a bit of technique more approachable. It seems to be working. I could put on my spandex, stand up straight and talk about esoteric techniques but that's not the groove of the channel. Some of my favorite coaches that I've gleaned some excellent information we're in their 80's and even 90's (true story) and the 90 year old couldn't stand, let alone have good posture LOL At a certain level dancers look through a lens of 'the best' dancers or the 'champion' dancers or the 'professional' dancers. At another level you realize if you can find just one nugget of information from someone - that's a win. 🙂 The video opens by saying it's for social dancers (or even competitors) I'm sure if you're looking hard you can find something valuable at every level.

So it appears traditional Amer. Rhythm, and Latin posture is out the window!? That's one good reason Country pro rhythm dancers look like ametuers!
We put videos out for amatuer social dancers. Why do peopt feel the need to put others down and be rude?
