Hehe some of us when we were young in the 20 somethings in Ghana, I was not thinking I will live long because of the hardship. But today am knocking on 70. I had no idea I will live this long. But the US gov retirement plan, my company retirement plan and my personal savings have rescued me. God bless!

We dont trade in dollars in Ghana please. What is worrisome is the level of inflation and not the dollar rate.

Private pension houses in Ghana. They accept as low as 20ghs to any monthly amount. Pensions Alliance Trust, Axis Pensions, Metropolitan pensions etc

E-zet calculation seems good but in reality Is that what’s happening? Ecobank development corporations (EDC) is doing same: mutual fund ( minimum monthly contribution is Ghc 20 ) and fixed income (minimum monthly contribution is Ghc 50 ). with mutual fund for example with money more than Ghc 10000 u get less than Ghc 10 return in some month ( meanwhile I hv been contributing for 11 years), sometimes too u don’t even earn anything in a month. so wen will u get the million Ghc he’s talking about

Investment in dollars is part of the reason why we are all suffering today. Which serious country do you see indigens buying other currencies as a form of investment? We are all part of the problem!
@@PatrickTVGh that's very true. We as Ghanaians are not doing anything to shore up our Cedi. We can complain about government but we are also compounding issues with these dollar investment and plain hoarding
