      @porcinirossiandco.mushroom no I don't believe they originated in Australia, but that variety apparently does grow in Australia.

      That big one was a few weeks ago. The smaller ones and the birch are recent. Still some young ones popping up, but far and few between

    I found a few birch Boletes near me but for some reason they stain blue, they look like the exact ones you found but stain blue wondering if you know anything about that

      Hi Jasper. I'm not an expert but I have read that certain varieties of the birch bolete do stain blue. I know of someone in Tasmania who picks the blue staining ones.
