Congrats and good for you! We went from a 16’ Scamp to a Rpod 177 (were full time in it for about 9 months) and are now full time in a Grand Design Imagine 17MKE (less than 22’ overall). We agree - have everything to be comfortable, but keep it small! Enjoy!
Travel Nurse is a great job to have to travel. You did the right thing going with a travel trailer. watch your tire pressures and wheel bearings. It helps to feel the hubs in between stops. If they are to hot to touch, there cold be an issue.
Thank you for your positive review on your Flagstaff / Rockwood Travel Trailer, I've looked at numerous travel trailers and I think Rockwood / Flagstaff is the best bang for your buck they offer so many upgraded features on their units standard, and most reviews I see on them are normally positive. I think they're one of the best reasonably priced travel trailers out there. Thanks again for your review and positiveness, and happy and safe travels
You hit the nail on the head! We have owned our 2019 E-Pro 19BH since 2022 and after doing extensive research and could not be happier. Since owning, we have put about 20,000 miles on it without a major issue and have camped at 61 locations. Of the consumer brands of travel trailers (not custom builds), I do believe that Flagstaff/Rockwood certainly give you the best bang for your buck!
You are going to absolutely love your road trip from FL to WA state! We did an identical RT last summer from FL to WA, and back, over a 2 month period. We traveled a total of about 13,000 miles (about 10,000 with our E-Pro) and visited 24 states, 14 National Parks and stayed at some state parks, COE campsites and overnight locations. We ended our westward swing near Redwoods NP before heading back east. We did not want to go back home!! Our E-Pro 19BH performed flawlessly and the only relatively major issue we had was a minor roof leak around our Wifi Ranger antenna, which was easily fixed (take some lap sealant with you just in case!). I don't know how many miles you will travel in total but I would suggest that you have your bearings packed (you probably have Dexter "Easy Lube" hubs) just to be safe, although your rig is relatively new (ours is a 2019 which we bought used in 2022). If you need any other suggestions, please feel free to ask. P.S. Our RT this summer will be an east coast swing from FL to Maine and back. Looking forward to it!
Even with the EZ lube bearings I believe it is wise to remove the bearings, clean them and the Hubs and repack with fresh grease. Is that what you did? They say every 5,000 miles??
@@oldsalt8011 Great points! Yes, when I do lube my wheel bearings, I do pull off the hubs to inspect them. EZ Lube does make it easier to lube the bearings. I don't usually clean them unless there is something noticeable that may indicate a cleaning is necessary. I inspect/lube every 12,000 miles, unless I am expecting to go on a long trip and then I will do this before I leave.
@@oldsalt8011 I essentially use the guidelines as posted by Dexter, the maker of most (I believe) RV axle assemblies (my axles and, I believe, all E-Pros are Dexter). Their official recommendation is 12 months or 12,000 miles. I just keep a log of all of our travels with our rig to keep track.
I have a 2021 Epro 15tb. I also have a Toyota Tacoma. I love them both. The truck was given to me by my dad's will and my trailer I paid in full. I haven't gone camping yet 'cause I've only had my trailer since October (raining a lot here in Oregon) plus I only just retired a week ago. But I'm excited to get out there, make mistakes and love it. Cheers for your video and positive vibes!
Im excited for you! I love Oregon ❤️ I was born in Grants Pass. I hope you get a chance to start taking it out soon. Maybe the weather will clear up soon for you ☀️ I’m fortunate to be in sunny Florida to learn and take it out exploring in good weather ☀️
It’s gonna be an epic trip ☀️ I miss my Tacoma, it was my dream truck, but the tundra is definitely more comfortable 👍 I’m so glad you love your trailer too!
Is that trip to Wash gonna be for work or pleasure? Yeah, I upgraded my truck when I bought my camper also. I had a life changing event (stroke, artery blockage) which made me buy all the camping stuff to get out there. Just travel local to my PA state parks. Camped a record 7 times this year compared to a normal 5 or 6. Glad you're using yours. You'll get better w/ time.
It will be a trip for work and pleasure ☀️ I have family and friends in Washington, Idaho and Montana, so I will be all over the place. Im so glad you are still able to camp and get around after having a stroke! I see so many patients that are not so fortunate. Thank you for your encouragement! Have an amazing day ☀️
Great positive thought for the day, very true. I don't recall from your past videos, you do have a spare tire mounted somewhere right? Must be underneath?
Very much enjoyed your videos...can you tell me what issue you had with towing with the Toyota Tacoma. We have a 2022 with the trailer package and this appears to be a low enough weight for it. Wondering what experience you had?
I had no issues towing with my Tacoma. It towed great! Although I didn’t get a chance to tow with it for long because an unfortunate event led me to have to get another truck and I decided to get a tundra because I couldn’t find another Tacoma like the one I had. The tundra definitely pulls better 👍
Thanks for another great Positive video. I enjoy each one. Stay safe, be well enjoy life.
Thanks, you too!
Be sure to look at a Oliver trailer.
Idk if there is someone else behind the camera but it look like your doing great if your doing this by yourself
Thank you so much ☀️ I do it all by myself. I put my iPhone on a tripod 👍
Keep it up young lady!
🙌 ☀️
Very awesome. Happy travels.
Watch the weather
Just a reminder when planning
Happy great time
Yes! Thank you!
Liked your vids, yt recommended so you hit the algo. 😊

Love this! ☀️

@@roadtripwarriors7458 Thanks for the reply. 12,000 miles, ok. I needed some idea when to think about it.
