Congrats on a cool rebuild... I had an 89 Wolfsberg Jetta and I really miss it... bought it used in '96, and drove all over the country with it and finally sold it in 2015 after 200K miles. The 1.8L 8v was indestructible. What set this car apart was the handling and the visceral feel to the road. It was really tight. Enjoy it, looks really great!
