I’ve got the wc fab thermostat bypass plug and in Florida my trans stays around 130 degrees on the highway and about 145 even with lots of stop and go. Definitely worth the money!

MAP sensor.. use Mass Air sensor cleaner (not Carb cleaner!) and compressed air.. go gentle on reassembly torque and a little ATF or vasoline to lube the O-ring
Never put a loose part directly on the engine. Imagine if you would have knocked the part somewhere in the engine

Map spacer waste of money. It put my truck in limp mode after 10k miles of use. Removed it cleared codes truck was fine after that. Just carry an extra sensor in case cleaning it doesnt work.
If you are in a cold climate you need the trans thermostat or you can do damage to your transmission on super cold days as it will never get hot enough. If it never gets cold where you live not having the thermostat doesnt matter too much

I didn't detach the harness, much easier to put the map spacer on.

If you delete your l5p, is there a need for this?
To be completely honest, I am not sure about the MAP sensor spacer for your truck. I would think you wouldn't have the same amount of soot since you don't have the EGR any longer. You could always check your MAP sensor and see how dirty it is. As for the transmission bypass plug, you should definitely do that if you haven't yet.
Mines deleted and I still did it anyways. Doesn't cost much and it's piece of mind.
