Dissani wasn’t banned in the uk, the launch was a nightmare. (From tom Scotts video) 1. The perception was that bottled water was mineral water (e.g. better than tap water). Then a journalist found out it was tap water with stuff added which was bad for PR 2. There was some form of bromine contamination from a bad batch of stuff they add to the water so they recalled the bottles.
