- Day 4 of this series brings Jalen a new cameraman because Nick couldn't make it. Jalen has his good buddy Dustin Kasowski along to help him track down a mature buck in southwest North Dakota. Dustin and Jalen start hiking out and come across a group of deer, when suddenly that mature buck they were looking for steps out. Check out the video to see if they catch up to him and get an opportunity to shoot him.

You guys had a great hunt and nice job on the footage! Hunted ND last year over the last two days of gun, and the following week with a bow it was a tough hunt not a ton of good bucks but did end up with a great 4X4 with a 45yds shot thanks for sharing your hunt nice work!
Appreciate it! Our spots in ND have for sure gone a little downhill the past few years. Little harder to find the mature ones! Congrats on the 4x4! Huge accomplishment getting one with a bow on public land!
@@NJHunting Thanks much appreciated!
Anyone else notice the coyotes on the hill behind the deer around 2:00
Funny that you mention that, we didn’t see that when we were out in the field but when we were home going over footage we saw them!
Is that your logo on your hat?
Y’all took WAY TOO much time getting ready for the shot, bummer, that was a nice one.
Yup a really nice buck but didn’t feel comfortable and just don’t want to take a shot that we arnt 100% comfortable with. Buuuut day 5 comes out on Sunday and it didn’t take us very long to shoot the next day.
I admire the patience. He could've forced a frontal shot...but that is less than ideal, especially when you're out of breath and he is almost 300 yards. Kudos for NOT taking the shot.
When that buck came running back toward y’all to grab that doe, was there no shot? Looked pretty close on camera, or was that just not the same buck?
Jalen (the hunter) was below the cameraman a ways and the tree was in his way the whole time… tough to be able to tell that from the footage but that’s why there was no shot there. He was between 350-500 during that time.
Great footage and your interviews will be more enjoyable to listen to if you don't end every sentence with "so". Just trying to help.
Appreciate it!
