John and Jeff play off each other so beautifully ... I love it when Jeff plays his jazz inversions ... When I first witnessed "Eyes of the World" performed in front of me fifty years ago, I was so blown away ... In every era, it has been so beautifully played (especially, for me, the super-charged the sped up versions from late 1977 - 1982) ... Dead & Company did it justice this June in St. Louis ...
If he just stayed outta sight & they put up a hologram of Jerry then you'd have a real grateful dead show..almost. it's what should've been done years ago with all the guys present.
I am always searching for different versions of Eyes. This may be my favorite so far. I thought 1991 Giants Stadium was great, but this one really slaps.
Hating gossip 😂turn down while the real ones are turning up 🤟⚡️ I feel bad for your inner world 🌎 reflection while you could simply let go and embrace the reality of the present moment 👍⚡️🙏
Agree - obviously Jay is no stranger to the music and he does play with more intensity, yet at the same time very respectful of Mickey and following his cues.

That second set was amazing and they opened it with a mind blower!
Agree Matt, what a way to kick off the 2nd set.
Going to miss them what a monster 👾 bass solo
Epic version…and a highlight of what was an otherwise glorious evening.
Thank you Chuck
Your welcome @tomshaug, this is really one of the best versions I have heard. NFA!
Grate!!! I Love this song !!! Grateful recording!!!
One of the best versions of this these guys have done!
Nice n Turnt up ❤💋💋🎉
John Mayer is the definition of effortless. It just flows out of him like a river.
So true! The runs he did up and down the neck were so smooth and tasteful. Mind blowing to watch and hear.

John and jeff really groove together bout 930 in
Those two often have some killer sidebar jams together. They feed off each other well.
That’s what roped me into D&C. Jeff and John have the same Vulcan mind meld Brent and Jerry had. Really makes me smile when they lock in.
❤❤❤❤❤
🤯 Awesome!
BOBBY 😎❤️❤️💋💋🌹⚡️🎉
What a run this lineup had. Going to miss it. ⚡️💀🥀
They fn threw down hard last night💞🐢
No doubt their way of saying “Thank you Saint Louis”.
Never n empty hand 💋💋💋

Phillip, epic jams on this. Thanks for watching. Cheers....
91 giants is indeed one of the top 2 best eyes ever… glad you know it
@@gregepperson1793what’s your favorite?
Check out some of ‘73/74 eyes
Whatever the one with Branford M on sax is from is great too (1990?).
that "motherfucker" at ~13:13 is spot on
Man! Oteil
Be working that bass like a mofo! Love it!
Jay Lane......
Stepped up big time and really didn’t miss a beat filling in for Billy.
it tickles me.....people in crowd hitting a balloon around....back in 70.s.....nobody would have known it was there....haha
Nice tempo
I'm glad somebody caught this, the choppiness on the official stream is an abomination.

Whoever the guy is on the audio trying to pick up a chick during the bass solo, I hope it worked out for you both, but you missed an epic session.
totally with you. Epic version. Will NEVER understand people who go to concerts and don't even pay attention during the best parts LOL!!
No offense to Bill, but the groove isn’t dragging anymore and it sounds so good and refreshed.

Bobby should give his check from the tour to John.
Stupidest comment I have seen in months. With tRumpers and flat earthers…that is saying a lot.
Is that William Shatner on vocals ?
the California Songbird singing like a buzzard; still playing great, though.
I'm glad Bobby didn't try to sing this.
People are having a full on conversation.
Why go to the concert? Stay home?🙄
Last year was way better
At least you get to see them. They come no where near me.
Nah.
Mf lol !,,,
