Nice build, haven't seen a 3/32 chain Sugino 75 build before. If you want a really quiet chain, the black teflon coated 3/32 Crupi BMX chain is super quiet with wax. It's the YBN single speed chain, really quiet on wax because of the teflon coating making the side plates and outer pins quieter. Should save you some cash over using expensive 11 speed chains, quieter too.
Thanks a lot for this! Super interesting nerd stuff 😎😎 I actually chose the Wipperman chain as it’s one of the good ones with wax. But I will dig into what you just shared for sure 👌 On my other track bike I am having the dura ace 11s chain waxed also. Apparently this chain is the best in terms of performance (velobike did some measurements).
@victorfixienerd If you look on friction facts the ybn chain has a special coating that holds onto lubricant better, it's still patented so Shimano and kmc and wipperman don't have this coating yet. They trickled this tech down to the single speed chain line too. Wax is so much quieter on ybn chains, only 15 dollars with 1300 Newton meters tensile strength too.
I didn't know you could fit an 11-speed chain on 3/32" (8 speed) chainrings. Usually 11 speed is 11/128". I know velobike makes 11/128 stuff (this is what I run on my track racing bike). Love the disk brake for a street fixed gear.
So, I was as surprised as you honestly…. And confused. Kronos is advertising them as 3/32” but I haven’t measured them. I guess tolerances permits such a setup.
I've been waiting on this video! Thank you!
🙏💪

I had my IRO set up with a front disc for years as my winter courier bike. Ran a Potts mod star nut for a more sleek look.
Never heard of a potts mod star nut before and now that I checked on google I wanna try 😂
Love the internet sometimes.
Thank you 👌

I want a rear disc brake on my Cinelli Vigorelli
Well that’s going to be tough to get 😂
Ny next build is going to be similar to yours, it honestly doesn't look out of place
If you're going to support any Canadian hockey team, it should be the Montreal Canadiens.
Noted XD I actually got this hoodie in a thrift shop 😂😂
Balling build! Is that a 1" steerer?
Thanks 🤘🤘 nope it’s 1-1/8” ;-)
@victorfixienerd Ah probably an optical illusion caused by the oversized Al headtube!
Yeah most probably 👌
Hell yeah 🤟🔥
