Igor! You make cool bikes, so don't let anyone give you guff about your instant coffee. Also, love the new color for the neutrino. Thanks for keeping it weird.
Just picked up one of those cranks. Not bad looking at all. Used this same set up for a bike Friday I’m building. I’m coming around to micro shift, they make some good stuff.
Thank you. I've been trying to gather info about building one of these, but there's surprisingly little information out there. Would an IGH work on this frame, and any chance of a belt drive option in the future?
Yep, an IGH would be fine. We may do a split for a belt in the future, but it would be a ways away. I've seen people do the VEER before. Those look neat but I haven't tried it yet.
Yes, this exact one is on the site. Add a frame and build kit to your cart: velo-orange.com/collections/neutrino-mini-velo It's $1995 shipped in the lower 48 in USA.
yes. They make minivelo front derailleurs since they have a positive bottom bracket. I've seen it done before but I haven't found it necessary for my own riding.
Is that instant coffee, instant always in jars in this part of the world (Ireland). I like the look of this frame but struggling to find sizing info on the whole mini velo thing. I'm 6'2" - could you do something to show the size jump between the frames and the position to expect i.e. what does a 6'2" person look like on a XXL frame.
It's instant and acceptable for caffeine lol. I think you'd be more comfortable on an XXL vs the L. Miles reviewed the XXL on Bikepacking: bikepacking.com/bikes/velo-orange-neutrino-review/

Thank you! Happy holidays!
So excited! I put my frame and build order in. Trying to talk my roommate into snagging one also.
I want one, I don’t need one but I bet they are a ton of fun!
So much fun! also don't think of it as n+1, more like n+0.5 lol
another pragmatic and inspiring build
🙌
Thanks for finally providing it in a palatable colour-way
Love the shield logo on the headtube!
I'm just here for the good luck... + that is a sweet build.
Granted!

All pretty good values!

sick ride, would love to rock that in the EU
Heck yea. We rode them in France back in 2019. Such a blast.
The best reason to get one: its a silly little bike that is fun to ride
N+0.5 is the best
a fellow M539 restorations enjoyer i see ;) Gut'en tight
Sreten is a gem. I even pondered getting an old BMW, but I get my fill of broken bmws from watching him.
Great build! Is this a build you would do for customers, and, if so, can you estimate the cost?

Merry Christmas friends 🎄☮️🚵🧡
🥰
Very cool. Can it be built 2x?
yes. They make minivelo front derailleurs since they have a positive bottom bracket. I've seen it done before but I haven't found it necessary for my own riding.
@@velo_orange 'Cause you don't live on the upper left-hand corner of California. We're dead flat or vertical, not much in between. 🙂
Do you need to face the head tube on a VO frameset or good to go straight to headset install?
No need! I haven't faced a VO frame in yeeeears.
I always drop my tools, sometimes twice for good measure

@@velo_orange Just the package that threw me for the coffee - thanks for the link, I'll take a look now.
What is the frame size of this build for your height?
This is size Large and I'm 5'10"
@velo_orange thank you!
ti frame pinion drive?
ti pinion mini velo sounds sick. You should make it happen.
It might be time for me to retire my pocket llama. Have you guys ever seen or built a neutrino with SS couplers?
Bilenky has done a few (we just send them to him), but I haven't seen the results. Would be really cool 🤔
oh no, a taper greaser 🤣
right? what a dweeb lol
🤘
Wait wait, did he say "Double buttered chromoly" ?
You heard me right. I learned it from Gordon Ramsey.
