I dig a MASSIVE tunnel in ENSHROUDED

Feel free to follow my adventure in Enshrouded. As a first thing, I decided to create a tunnel that goes to the middle of the world.

Fun times underground :) I thought anything outside the "alter area of effect" reverts back to normal after either restarting the game or 30 minutes..? So, when you started digging you could use the foundation blocks and remove them to speed up digging, (but only inside the "alter area") and then you had to dig with the pick-axe. How did the tunnel you made outside the alter area stay in place? Or did you do that all inside 30 minutes?

I did all of that in one session. (I even had to go somewhere so I left it for 30 more minutes). But after logging out it resets, so you have to do it all in one session. 😁
