It’s important to go to welding school but it is more important to learn how to weld. It doesn’t matter what you do just practice and keep practicing. Nobody can hold your hand. It’s up to you. American Welding Society! Welding schools!

I'm not a welding inspector, a safety man, or your mom. Do your own research. I'm not responsible for anything you do. Have an awesome, awesome day. Stay safe. welding tools homemade
Love watching Chris and Jose handling any task!
thank you that means a lot
I always stick pipe in the hole, plum the pipe, secure pipe, fill hole with Crete, water and wait a day or so. Works fine on barns, fence post..etc
That's the slickest thing I've ever seen you have a great imagination
thank you and gets me in trouble sometimes
Up here in Wisconsin those ice auger is dime a dozen. Now I have another used for them.
Couple things brother...
-Cut the bag in half short way on one side of bag. to pour it in the hole faster
-check bag for the exact measurement for water per bag have in a jug/water can
-dry ground/ dirty pre wet soil in the hole. This help the ground from drying your concrete out to fast.
- I like to put water in the hole before hand maybe with little concrete powder base on the bottom about 2/3 to 1/2 the measurements. has im pouring the bag in I'll add some along the way then top it off with rest of the water. Add if needed.

The tip is every useful Chris thanks for sharing..
I appreciate all those tips Dan Bob, thank you
I would use fence post mix not concrete.
never heard of such
@@TaylorWelding the day I watched your video, I was removing a couple of fence posts. The previous dude used concrete instead of fence post mix. Nearly impossible to break up 36 inches of concrete 3 feet down in the hole for rotten out post. Lots of extra work.
Some situations it would suffice. Looks a bit messy and I think you would include dirt in with the concrete, so reduced strength of the concrete.
Lol
What a great idea 💡!
Easy clean up no wheelbarrow to wash off.
I Love the way you think.
You have an awesome AWESOME DAY as well. Blessings, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
Hi Carlos you have awesome awesome day too
Thank you! You too!
Now that is using a tool for more than one purpose, great job. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’ll have to try that. We have that same auger.
I usually fill the hole up with a couple of buckets of water, dump the quick creat around my post …. And walk away
I put the post in, pour in quick setting concrete, pour in the water and straighten the post. Done,
does that work out good for you? I’ve always wondered.
Doesn’t seem like it would set up right?
Here is a video by Quickrete "Setting Posts with QUIKRETE® Fast-Setting Concrete in the Red Bag HD"
Put the quoted text in the RUclips search field. I have done six posts this way and all turned out OK.
@@TaylorWelding it works for me. I know guys who just dump the bag in the hole and forget about it. They claim there is enough moisture in our soil to set up… but I don’t trust that
Pea gravel.
Pea gravel.
Pea gravel.
Place post in hole
Pour pea gravel in gap
Post will not move
Can pull post straight up with front end loader to remove, vacuum out the gravel with shop vac and reuse if needed
I never heard that. Very interesting. Thank you.
as a concreter you make a great welder haha. keep up the good work your welding videos have helped me out a heap with my welding I'm definitely no contractor but for the stuff I do around the farm its bee a big help thanks bud.
That is awesome!
Nothing better than staying away from doing it the hard way,Love It..........................................................................Fort Worth,Tx
I think I like it
Great idea
I'll keep my wheelbarrow and shovel. decent idea though. Thanks
Ima try that one for sure. Got a mile of pipe fence to do. That is pretty stout. Thanks boys
Good idea! Like it. Also put more lights on the tractor. Never enough lights on a tractor for night time work.
Good call!
Nice!
Thats fucking smart love your videos
thanks bud
Когда сил девать некуда вот так делают
Love it!
Thanks!!
This approach would not work well mounting solar stands, but for simple post deployment , I like this idea.
I got same hole auger! Cheap and effective. Worth the $$$! Dug 100s of fence post holes
