The Secret to Making Tracks FLOW: 6-Step Workflow
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 11 июл 2024
- Go from loops and blocky arrangements to a seamless track that flows with these 6 steps. It might seem simple or obvious at first but for me this technique is game-changing. It works together with other projects, creating drops, lifts, and tension, or it gives you a fully arranged track that your audience will be engaged with! In this session, I use the awesome Monogram CC Controller for some heavy MIDI mapping and controlling!

So much value in just one video 💖💖💖
Thanks Gama!! :)
So many pro tips and info in one video. Mapping multiple controls to one slider, and recording session view into arranger while still performing, that's new to me. Thanks so much Linna, brilliant stuff.
So happy you got lot out of it! ❤
Nice approach! You are basically DJing your own loops 😁
Yesss!
Love ur videos style keep up great work love from Canada
Thanks!
Great tutorial and tips on sampling and midi mapping.
You ' re a natural born funny teacher ! thanx Ma'am.
Glad you liked it! 😊
More great advice thank you 👏😁
Glad you liked it! 😊
Thank you 🙏🏾🤘🏾🙏🏾

Here's the honest truth. Most people struggle with loops because they create loops. Loops that often times they have no connection with. People tend to pick or make loops they like. Don't be in a rush. Let it play over and over and over....and over and over some more. And if inspiration doesn't come to you - why choose a loop or create a loop that don't inspire?
For a loop you really like, will always take you places. Eventually.
But i'll give you a tip. When you create something, we all create things that are not good. Sometimes. Never be afraid or too proud to push aside all you've created and start again with the same instruments with the intent or goal to do something better. Thanks for your infectious enthusiasm.
Cool! I'll try using these techniques with my Novation equipment. 🤓
Have fun! ❤
I have seen this little tool but not in this deep details. Really great video again Liina. Personally, I'm using similarly my iostation and Push 2 together. But, this could be a great additional tool. Great tutorial video! :) Congrats! :)
Thanks Thomas! Glad you liked it! 😊
I'm doing a similar thing but i control all my instrument racks through the push2 . I have a master fx rack (on a group track not master) and a side chain track with kickstart2 on it . Its all mapped out on a intech grid en16 and then i use the knobs on my launchkey to control sends( usually just delay) .
Hello. LNA when are you going to help us with new ableton live 11 templates?? I used the old ones all the time, thanks for your great music and job. Regards.
Hi Liina 😁 I listened to Tea And Milk the other day, and ended up following a link to your stuff on Spotify. The album Kasvutarina really impressed me! It's not my type of music, but it sounds so pro. Really well crafted and with a lot of art build into it. An abundance of sounds and melodies. 22 and Breathe are great pieces with a lovely sophisticated soundscape. Really liked those two. Runway I have reviewed (good) earlier. After listening to all that music, I don't know how to think about Tea And Milk. I really love the vibe, but the other stuff you have done sound more finished and sophisticated than Tea And Milk. I can't help but to think loop made in to whole track a little hastily. And it's like you've had better ideas before. I hope you'll find my critisism to be constructive - that's how it's meant to be. I look forward to hear more music from you 🤓
Nice that you like mu tracks! Funny thing is that I think opposite about my music. I think Tea And Milk is my best one yet, and most of the feeback I have received reflects that. But comes to show that we all like different things, which is also cool. What I like about art is that there is no right or wrong :)
We want the second mix published as a remix ❤
Ah shouldd do it!!!
Nice one, enjoyed this cheers....

I was thinking about Coffee With Cream..?
@@LNADoesAudioStuff haha I like your style
Is "Build & Break" rack part of a pack or something ? I'm using 11.2.6 on Windows and it's not there.
It actually might be from a pack. Can’t remember the name right now but there is one about risers, so propably that 😊
I don't like the video. It's more like "Hey! This is how to play guitar for noobs and look - cool shop of guitars" when you was looking for mature song writing. But here I was hoping to find mature arrangement education. Oh :(
That’s ok if you don’t like it. I personally think this is a great technique for producers from beginners to advanced peeps. What more you know the more complex mapping you can do, plus playing with MPE option ans dynamic modulation. But happy for if people get introduced to guitar shop either way. 😄
I feel like you missed the point Dmitry- any midi controller with knobs/sliders will work - you're focusing on the gear rather than the valuable technique of grouping off tracks and assigning effects to macros.
One of Abletons biggest strengths is the ability to live play all the elements of your songs to get amazing movement/layering going - this idea of making effects groups takes it a step further - well presented and valuable information, thanks LNA.
@@beatsnbrews No, I don't think so. Shortly, I'm looking for theory. Why to change the material? In which way? What time it change? How that will reveal our tracks's idea.
I don't look for how to use controllers to record automations to make changed in arrangements. This is kind of obvious, isn't?
@Dmitry says fair enough dude, I find it odd that you are looking for beginner arrangement content yet gatekeeping what's "obvious" with regards to organically feeling out a composition.
To each their own. Best of luck with your search 👍
@@beatsnbrews why you decided I'm looking for beginner arrangement content? Ok, nevermind, think whatever you want
