- back in april 2023, a friend of mine named Matias sent me an email about a terrifying experience he had in minecraft. he included a video and asked me to share it on my channel so that everyone can know about this. this is the video he sent me.

Coming from an amateur filmmaker (kind of) this style of framing is actually amazing, like always. It forces the viewer to look at the center of the screen, which subconsciously makes you wait in anticipation for a jumpscare. Beautiful work, man!

This was pretty unique. No scary monsters this time, just the very real fear of having your files hacked and hijacked for a ransom. That is much scarier than encountering any entity you can ever find.

However, I think you should’ve made the entire video 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9, so that iPad users and such have full screen when the screen recording is shown.
Edit: the video is 4:3 now, so I guess everything’s perfect now.
This happens to be the most unique creepypasta I've ever seen also maybe the scariest this is why I never wanted to play minecraft maps.

The film is pretty good but i thought that footage is from 2011
the readme.png literally is a bunch of random symbols that can make laggy a computer, this creepypasta is incredibly well done

So, I actually typed in the link, and it took me to internet archive. I found another link and downloaded it. The map exists, but I didn't put it in my saves, just deleted it afterwards. I tempted to play it, is it actually a virus?

I translated the word “esne laetus” and its Latin language what its asking is “Are you happy?” This is not creepy or being creepy but most in front of a dark void looks creepy if don’t believe me translate it in Latin and inglish by google translater

So basically the way this ransomware works is that each time you completed a question it slowly encrypts more files in your PC.
Beware guys! My little brothers Tablet got so many virus he downloaded a map downloader app then he found a dirt block named "The update block" then he can't play minecraft his tablet was controlled automatically! That was unbelievable!!

edit: nvm it does. im gonna see what i can find without downloading the file or playing the map.
I played the map, it deleted all my worlds when I put it in the saves folder. I eventually got it to work, and it was the same as the video. My game also crashed at the end.
