I need pinout for DPS-488AB! Pls more information. From note 500kOm is for control speed fan or? A6 and A9 for (А1 А4) if open unit will find correct pins printed on card! On your note is 1 to 4 but correct is from 1 to 9. Missing connectors 3,4 & 5. On mine from A1 connected to A2 is turn on power 12 and 5V.

A1 to A4 is control pins for fan use a large pot if you can as I only had a 500k ohm one. I have no diagram just guess it. I used a multimeter on ohms to tell me the earth lines then guess the rest. Good luck.

I imagine you can probe the non earth pins and see which one is pulled up to some voltage when the power is on - that one will be the switch position.

Thanks Benny, will keep probing. As these server powersupply are handy to have round. Not much at all on the internet on these power supplies.

Was wondering if you had any advise for me on one I am looking at .. the PWR-C45-6000acv (Delta DPST-6000cb) ...
I have identified the ground for the output voltage but I am having a hard time getting it to power on from the 24 pin header ... there is one pin that is a ground pin .. I thought that I could probably just connect that to one of the other pins and it would power it up, but that isn't working ..
    Any suggestions?

I also looked for circuit diagrams when I modded this one years ago. I of these manuals may give you a clue. You could take the cover of be careful of the capacitors and trace the lines back to where they come from and compare it to one of these models. Most engineers are lazy, so use the same types of circuits. Good luck. Let me know how you go.
