Ma di fatto ha cantato tante produzioni alla Scala dove era di casa voluto e stimato sia da Abbado che da Muti, il che non mi sembra affatto poco . Dalla fine degli anni 60 ai primi anni 80 e' stato artista molto versatile per gli autori che ha affrontato ma a mio avviso eccellente nel verdiano eroico risorgimentale dove il tenore deve essere particolarmente smagliante, lucente e squillante , oltre ad un' apprezzabile mezza voce sopratutto in zona di passaggio che sapeva utilizzare con dovizia di particolari
Great, strong tenor! I love this aria and the opera. It’s a shame it’s not done more. To think it was Puccini’s first entry into opera! I would also love to hear di Stefano sing this aria/role 😊❤️
wonder if there are any recordings of him in Butterfly from his Royal Opera House debut in 72/73.. I was there and have never forgotten the impact his voice made on me. I could never understand why he was not up there with at least two of the three great tenors?
He was a Mile in front of Domingo, I to saw that performance and his Boheme both he sang with passion with a voice that was well placed and in my opinion very beautiful, better than Carreras as well, Pavarotti was becoming very hit and miss, but the record companies made these three, in my opinion, Luchetti Bonisolli and Giacomini were all to become better than them. now we have the Poncy Florez and that Fake Kaufmann who sings as if he bringing Phlegm from his Toes. Luchetti was an Exciting Tenor!

великие тенора - совсем невеликие. Это просто реклама. Рядом с ними не было множество действительно великих певцов.

può essere anche Caruso, che non è, ma se l'orchestra va da una parte e lui da un'altra, non si riesce ad ascoltare.
