Fantastic staging - it had never occurred to me that it could be done this way! Shades of "Swan Lake," in which the male lead also has to die due to his infidelity! I wish we could see the whole opera! Wonderful singing, by the way! This aria has been one of my favorites since I was 15, and inspired my own "Scarlet Letter" more than any other!
