You should check out, "Steak and butter gal", she has amazing skin. When she was vegan, her skin was horrible. I think it has something to do the DHA and collagen that can only be found in animal food, but you're already aware of this right? How poor is the conversion rate of ALA to DHA?
It’s not my first choice, simply because it has less data behind it. But there is some interesting research to suggest it may help acne when applied to the skin. In terms of skin-supporting dietary fats, I’d focus on eating nuts and seeds instead!
