Yngwie's always preferred plexis and I can understand why, especially if you want great strat tones. I had a JMP stack a long time ago and my strat sounded amazing through it with a Boss Overdrive and Chorus. Perfect.
By far my favorite pedal of his, is the big black one off to the side. He hits any tonality and shakes the room with this bold sound. Also the boss at 2:10 that baby gets Louddd
