Best just follow the manufacturers videos. Before the casting sock is applied the patient should switch to a prone position with the leg to be casted straight up. This will cause the foot and ankle to automatically take the correct angle for casting.
I stoped watching at 4:50 because you made one error nothing between the toes inside that cast. not a good education video. if you put gauze or some other material it would have be a very good educational video.just think before you do. I'm not trying to be prick I can see you no what you are doing.you just forgot.
TZZ-EZ doesn't include additional padding for between the toes. I guess it could be added but the casting sock used is very breathable and maceration isn't as big as a problem compared to conventional plaster and or fiber total contact cast.
You have put this on completely wrong!!! Did you even look at the instructions? This is a disgrace. The red and green line is suppose to be along the shin as that is the line you follow to cut with the saw. You did not use enough tape as it will shift and why did you cut the felt ?? It is suppose to protect the Achilles’ tendon!!! WTF
It is NOT FOR YOU OR I WHO APPLY THE CAST BUT IF THE PATIENT GOES TO EMERGENCY THEY WILL KNOW WHERE TO CUT AS MOST EMERGENCY STAFF ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH TCC CAST APPLICATION OR REMOVAL!!!!!
Do YOU think EMERGENCY HAS THE INSTRUCTIONS??? THE PATIENT AND FAMILY IS INSTRUCTED TO TELL THE ER IN CASE OF EMERGENCY TO CUT AT THE LINE SO THERE IS NO INJURY. HENCE THE LINE SHOULD RUN WHERE THE FELT IS.
Once you put a few of these on they are by far the easiest and fastest total contact cast to put on. They are just incredibly expensive compared to making a total contact cast from regular casting materials which is a shame because they work really well. But the price is ridiculous. just that stupid boot alone cost more than some of the best walking boots
Is this TCC-EZ cast waterproof? Can I shower or swim with it on? How long does it take for the stockinette to dry?

The lines are irrelevant, you can use them for reference or not. Further, did you read the instructions on how to remove the TCC-EZ?
