i was one of very few people who saw poole for who he really was he's a ball hog who shoots like crap, yes people said he was going to average 30 since he wouldn't have curry and klay, but because he wouldn't have them to space the floor he would be lucky to average 15 points.

Poole’s game is unrefined. He has a big ego, has no motor, bad defensive iq, bad decision making, and his flash no substance thing is awful.
That being said, he’s very talented and clearly skilled. But he needs to change a lot to be at the very least a decently efficient scoring threat. Perhaps around 21-24 ppg on 44/38/90 splits which I think is possible in the future.

    • @juliefreid9982

Whatever is going on with Poole, I have to believe will pass. He's a great player just off his game and self. I didn't give up on him when he started with the Warriors. I saw something great in him and he grew.
I wouldn't focus too much on his ego etc, he's still young and for the most part he's been pretty much non-ego and focused what he needed to do to grow as a player.
If he's gotten off track, then he needs people not to give up him. He's a person not a product. Besides there's enough ego and bad playing to go around with players/teams and I am tired of the Poole rant.

Both Poole & Draymond are responsible for these actions & especially Draymond being one of the co-leaders along with curry. Coming off of a championship season, we see how it altered the team chemistry & ultimately killed the (flow) if the entire season. From my viewpoint it calls to mind 2 colliding egos on both there parts and down goes the Warriors entire season based on (BOTH) of their petty actions KILLED the team chemistry! The club NEVER recovered due to Both of their actions, and so went the season! Whoever leaked the video knew really did a disservice to the team & in my humble opinion did as MUCH damage to the club as both Draymond & Jordans actions! The club tried but couldn't recovered & the chemistry the club once had, they couldn't recover from! Evidence of this showed itself several times when especially when Draymond attempted to talk to Jordan or HI-5 Jordan, he would not reciprocate & return a Hi-5 when a good play was made. The team was fractured & couldn't recovered due to the broken chemistry & more importantly "the trust" between the 2 players & how that affected the entire clubs chemistry! We see NOW Pool is a "walking reck" & he's good "to no one" not even his new team nor himself! So who's the winner in this situation? No one! Jordan, & I hate to use this term, (IS BROKEN), & the warriors total dynamics have changed,so when you look at it, both near and far, he's broken and acting out, which changed the TOTAL dynamics of the club; how you may ask? He was ONCE being pegged as one of there FUTURE home grown STARS coming up in the Warriors way & would be ONE of the future stars along with the trove drafted young stars to take them into the future coming up playing "THE WARRIOR'S WAY OF BASKETBALL"! Yes Jordan "as they say,"GOT HIS BAG", but more importantly, will the young man recover! Yes Jordan "GOT HIS BAG" as they say. The questions begs to be asked, what's now broke, can It heal! Just my thoughts.... Mr. Hop...

there's nothing insightful about this video, you're doing what everyone else is doing which is hating on poole and feeding into this narrative that he's this selfish player that everyone hates without diving deeply into his situation in golden state. every warrior not named draymond green liked him and praised him publicly during his time on the warriors. he held it down for the team when steph and/or klay were hurt. what i will never understand is people calling him a selfish chucker, if anything he was the opposite of that in the 2023 playoffs when he got shut down. he averaged less shot attempts (10.5 a game) than he did in the 2022 playoffs. he averaged 15.6 shot attempts in the regular season. dude was the only other player behind steph that could create offense for himself and his teammates he was supposed to be the second or third scoring option but he would just stop shooting if he started the game cold. how are y'all gonna call the guy a chucker if he's scared to take shots when the pressure is on? if anything he lost confidence and became way too passive. klay was taking and bricking way more ridiculous shots in the same playoffs but no one is blaming him for the warriors failure.
poole is the type of player that needs the trust and support from his surrounding to perform well on the court, and the media is just trying to tear this man down for whatever reason. but the whole world is just feeding into the hate and praying for his downfall it's truly sad and his career is on the verge of being destroyed. kid helped a dynastic team win a championship as a main contributing factor, and then he gets fucking sucker punched by his teammate and traded away to a poverty franchise and y'all want to see him fail more like wtf.

    • @jayjonah83
      @jayjonah83 10 месяцев назад +1

But he is a selfish player, who chucks shots and plays for style points instead of actual points. If he was so good the warriors would've kept him but then you are how he's playing since he left and then you see why they traded him. Take off the cape man. It's not that he's playing bad, he's playing awful and repeatedly makes the most amateur boneheaded plays the league has ever seen. Buddy is a Shaqtin a Fool hall of famer

I love what you wrote. Wow, how damaging is this. It's happening more and more and has gotten worse over the years, especially with the development of social media. As a Warriors fan and loving Poole when he joined the team, my heart and eye saw something electrifying in him, even when it wasn't obvious to others. I tracked him rallied for him and saw his talent grow. So no matter what is happening with him, I won't give up on him on the court and off.

His game requires extreme focus (whose doesn’t tho). But, if he’s not dialed in he’s a net negative on the floor. His excellent handles become needless turnovers and his above average shot becomes exactly what it is/was for his entire career outside of the few months he was incredibly locked in circa ‘21-22. His defense was never solid but it was, like Harden, something you could accept. Not without ~37%+ from deep and 20+ ppg. He has $100 million dollars and has even said he feels his career is set after ‘22. Let that comment sink in. Good luck Jordan. Good luck Wizards. Maybe he’d be better off in a different situation? Warriors are very glad he’s gone. Wizards probably will be too. When that day comes.🤷‍♂

Stories have revealed since he left California that when Greene punched him that was a boiling over movement not only with Draymond but quite a few of the other warriors were frustrated with Poole’s attitude. The Warriors were able to keep him mostly under control due to being a veteran roster but now with no veterans to tell him to scale down his game and play team ball he takes way too many shots, he drives when the defense has shut down the lane, he rarely passes to open teammates either. He has let his attitude destroy his potential. I think while some are shocked by this cause it seems like he’s regressed his game, I disagree. The Warriors were able to cover up his weaknesses cause they had so much talent around an average nba player. He let his ego make himself believe he’s on the same level as his future hall of fame teammates but he’s not. If he humbles himself he still be a good player in the league.

I feel you 🤣 bros not tryna catch that copyright claim so for the sake of the video here are the lyrics for the Poole song:
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you want me
Cause baby there's no one that makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of A kind
    See you lookin' my way
Make you feel some kinda way
I can tell that you want me
But you know what it will and what it won't be
    They aint got my vibe
    Ain't parta my tribe
Shit its like why try, you know?
    They be all "my, my"
Hit em wit the bye bye
    Out like the wi-fi
    Let's go
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you Want me
Cause baby there's no one that Makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of A kind
No game but you're a different League
You ain't the same you kinda outta Reach
And I can tell that you ain't for the Street
You the type of man I seen
    Momma pray for
Let's hit 'em with the no show
They don't know what we know
Let's see how this episode plays Out
    Stay on the high road
    Sage and the palo
You know what I'm all about
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you want me
Cause baby there's no one that makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of a kind
    Look into my eyes
    Tell me what you see
    This ain't no disguise
    Just the best of me
    No problem 😉

Poole has certainly done some goofy things however I believe the Wizards are trying to help him. He's been assigned a coach by the Wizards named of David Vanterpool that you see working out with him. David is a top tier player development coach.
He is the coach who developed Damien Lillard, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Shai Gilegous-Alexander. All top stars. The Wizards show him working with Poole all the time so I believe he'll help JP turn it around. Just give it time.

Can he change JP's ego though. Cause thats the huge problem with him. Ive seen lots of NBA players full egos and they end up not being in the NBA because their egos.
