When KG said Poole was the next James Harden, he must have been referring to Playoff/game 7 James Harden
😂😂😂 I’m dying
he was probably referring to hardens ego too
No no fat suit harden
No they really believed in him. It wasn't just KG. It was Paul Pierce, Gilbert Arenas and Paul George. They now are disappointed because they know he can do better.
Naw he was talking about trick the people to think he good James Harden...
Someone tell him he's an expensive backpack for kuz yet?
i was one of very few people who saw poole for who he really was he's a ball hog who shoots like crap, yes people said he was going to average 30 since he wouldn't have curry and klay, but because he wouldn't have them to space the floor he would be lucky to average 15 points.
Poole’s game is unrefined. He has a big ego, has no motor, bad defensive iq, bad decision making, and his flash no substance thing is awful.
That being said, he’s very talented and clearly skilled. But he needs to change a lot to be at the very least a decently efficient scoring threat. Perhaps around 21-24 ppg on 44/38/90 splits which I think is possible in the future.
Whatever is going on with Poole, I have to believe will pass. He's a great player just off his game and self. I didn't give up on him when he started with the Warriors. I saw something great in him and he grew.
I wouldn't focus too much on his ego etc, he's still young and for the most part he's been pretty much non-ego and focused what he needed to do to grow as a player.
If he's gotten off track, then he needs people not to give up him. He's a person not a product. Besides there's enough ego and bad playing to go around with players/teams and I am tired of the Poole rant.
He was always have been like this even in GS he was an inconsistent 6th man which you can get away with in GS but when you are the first option it's not gonna fly chief
No offence to the dubs, but paying this guy a supermax was a waste. Jordan Poole ain't Steph. So it's time for him to hit the gym if he wants to last in the nba, let alone pursue greatness
At that stage of his career there were a lot of teams that would have given him that money. Things have changed a lot since then.
It wasn't a super max but they definitely over paid. Yet another example of bad general managing by the overrated Bob Myers
Nah if you warriors fan and saw all the games last year. This wasn’t a surprise. Jordan Poo 💩
Turning into a shot chucker??? Hes been that😂
Both Poole & Draymond are responsible for these actions & especially Draymond being one of the co-leaders along with curry. Coming off of a championship season, we see how it altered the team chemistry & ultimately killed the (flow) if the entire season. From my viewpoint it calls to mind 2 colliding egos on both there parts and down goes the Warriors entire season based on (BOTH) of their petty actions KILLED the team chemistry! The club NEVER recovered due to Both of their actions, and so went the season! Whoever leaked the video knew really did a disservice to the team & in my humble opinion did as MUCH damage to the club as both Draymond & Jordans actions! The club tried but couldn't recovered & the chemistry the club once had, they couldn't recover from! Evidence of this showed itself several times when especially when Draymond attempted to talk to Jordan or HI-5 Jordan, he would not reciprocate & return a Hi-5 when a good play was made. The team was fractured & couldn't recovered due to the broken chemistry & more importantly "the trust" between the 2 players & how that affected the entire clubs chemistry! We see NOW Pool is a "walking reck" & he's good "to no one" not even his new team nor himself! So who's the winner in this situation? No one! Jordan, & I hate to use this term, (IS BROKEN), & the warriors total dynamics have changed,so when you look at it, both near and far, he's broken and acting out, which changed the TOTAL dynamics of the club; how you may ask? He was ONCE being pegged as one of there FUTURE home grown STARS coming up in the Warriors way & would be ONE of the future stars along with the trove drafted young stars to take them into the future coming up playing "THE WARRIOR'S WAY OF BASKETBALL"! Yes Jordan "as they say,"GOT HIS BAG", but more importantly, will the young man recover! Yes Jordan "GOT HIS BAG" as they say. The questions begs to be asked, what's now broke, can It heal! Just my thoughts.... Mr. Hop...
The other thing that is interesting is the fact the Warriors traded Jordan Poole and are finding out that they're not better off without him! 😅
GSW are better without him..... at this time, their record is better than it was with JP, plus their road record is way better as well.
@@usmcmsgt5487golden state is lierally struggling to make is back to the 50% winning mark. And last season they got to like 45 wins. I think my guys right honestly, they did better last year than they are doing rn. Their road record may be better but their home record is now garbage. At least it was interesting to see them completely dominate in chase center last season
I rest my case. My gut told me this would happen.
Draymond is still out here punching people. Meanwhile y'all complain about Poole, while he outscores Klay and Wiggins.
Poole might not figure it out but he does have legit talent.
He's a D leaguer
there's nothing insightful about this video, you're doing what everyone else is doing which is hating on poole and feeding into this narrative that he's this selfish player that everyone hates without diving deeply into his situation in golden state. every warrior not named draymond green liked him and praised him publicly during his time on the warriors. he held it down for the team when steph and/or klay were hurt. what i will never understand is people calling him a selfish chucker, if anything he was the opposite of that in the 2023 playoffs when he got shut down. he averaged less shot attempts (10.5 a game) than he did in the 2022 playoffs. he averaged 15.6 shot attempts in the regular season. dude was the only other player behind steph that could create offense for himself and his teammates he was supposed to be the second or third scoring option but he would just stop shooting if he started the game cold. how are y'all gonna call the guy a chucker if he's scared to take shots when the pressure is on? if anything he lost confidence and became way too passive. klay was taking and bricking way more ridiculous shots in the same playoffs but no one is blaming him for the warriors failure.
poole is the type of player that needs the trust and support from his surrounding to perform well on the court, and the media is just trying to tear this man down for whatever reason. but the whole world is just feeding into the hate and praying for his downfall it's truly sad and his career is on the verge of being destroyed. kid helped a dynastic team win a championship as a main contributing factor, and then he gets fucking sucker punched by his teammate and traded away to a poverty franchise and y'all want to see him fail more like wtf.
But he is a selfish player, who chucks shots and plays for style points instead of actual points. If he was so good the warriors would've kept him but then you are how he's playing since he left and then you see why they traded him. Take off the cape man. It's not that he's playing bad, he's playing awful and repeatedly makes the most amateur boneheaded plays the league has ever seen. Buddy is a Shaqtin a Fool hall of famer
I love what you wrote. I guess there's a lot of amnesia that goes around in sports, One praises and the newspapers are all over you and love you etc. Then when imperfection happens and true humanity arises, then the message is, that's it on you, and you're thrown out like yesterdays news in the TRASH. Wow, how damaging is this. It's happening more and more and has gotten worse over the years, especially with the development of social media. As a Warriors fan and loving Poole when he joined the team, my heart and eye saw something electrifying in him, even when it wasn't obvious to others. I tracked him rallied for him and saw his talent grow. So no matter what is happening with him, I won't give up on him on the court and off.
Nah I always hated him lmao
Who thought he would go for 20ppg? Dude was a 6th man on a championship team. Beal averaged 30. Poole is nowhere near that level
Hey Poole where are you, I know you have a burner account and check out all the social media news about yourself.....😅😅😅😅😅😅
Poole has this mindset of “I won a ring my legacy is secured” no it’s not lmao not in the slightest you gotta win all star selections all nba selections when people search your name you want Jordan Poole “hall of fame” “unstoppable scoring highlights” “all nba” not Jordan Poole “why did he fall off” “is he selfish” “why is Jordan Poole such a bad player” we criticize and torment Poole not because we are jerks but because we know he can be better he has shown it before he just refuses to be better I guess
It’s hard to prove now, bc he got paid and it could be argued that he just doesn’t care anymore. It honestly I just don’t think he was that good. He played on a championship team, and the truth is that Steph attracts so much attention you could throw a bunch of bums in there and they’d eventually get an opportunity to look good.
As a Warriors fan, last season, Poole always frustrated me. He’d have a great game followed by five or six bad ones in a row where he made several costly turnovers late in the game. I’m sad but not surprised he’s playing the way he is in DC
The shot he bricked in game 2 or 3 vs the kings when Steph was wide open 😂😂
Jordan poole was 28th round pick overall. 😊
Wonderful piece!! Thoughtful, and backed-up EVERY point with *multiple* examples!!
He was always ass to me so im not surprised 🤷♂️mans is reckless he was masked in warriors so he was able to get away with it mans got overpaid like a mofo
4:26 he traveled like a mf 😂😂😂
Lol! Remember when everyone was saying poole was the next 30?
Get over it, damn petty GSW fans mad their team is trash this year so they have to bash Poole non stop
W vid
His game requires extreme focus (whose doesn’t tho). But, if he’s not dialed in he’s a net negative on the floor. His excellent handles become needless turnovers and his above average shot becomes exactly what it is/was for his entire career outside of the few months he was incredibly locked in circa ‘21-22. His defense was never solid but it was, like Harden, something you could accept. Not without ~37%+ from deep and 20+ ppg. He has $100 million dollars and has even said he feels his career is set after ‘22. Let that comment sink in. Good luck Jordan. Good luck Wizards. Maybe he’d be better off in a different situation? Warriors are very glad he’s gone. Wizards probably will be too. When that day comes.🤷♂
JP does not have an above average shot. He got hit for two months and everyone decided that’s who he is full time. His shooting efficiency has been on the level of Westbrook for the last two seasons. Absolutely horrendous
Aged like milk
He's a joke 😅😅😅 what are you wearing on your head?????
You’re a Kyle Kuzma fan?! Damn bro, you lost me.
Best thing to happen to JP getting a bag
Worst thing to happen to JP getting a bag
Who’s we?
*Y’all
If you watched full warriors games including their championship season, you could not only have predicted Poole’s drop off last season (similar to Austin Reeves + Duncan Robinson) but also predicted his poor play this year.
dont mention AR and Poole in the same sentence. AR is a team player, much more efficient, and knows his role. Poole is an idiot and plays the most non efficient basketball since JR smith when melo went down.
stop it. you were most likely on his dick in 2022. just stop.
I agree, warriors fan been watching for years and I found him always streaky with hot bursts and cold times. He also at times would chirp at being taken out of the game and this was with a coach that has full support and control of his job. He showed he didn’t like direction. These kinda of things are fixable but much of it is his personality that needs to improve.
the jordan poole baddie affect is not real its been debunked
He's not a Harlem Globetrotter's level. he can sign up with the Washington Generals.
😂😂
He’s not that young… he’s 25
Edit: 24, 6 months away from being 25
lol 25 is young, youngblood
@@greenonionsalad its not young in the sense that you dont get much better after 25. Poole at best has reached his ceiling
@@ry_an. that's just not true. There's been 15 players, 25 or older, who've won the most improved player award
Stories have revealed since he left California that when Greene punched him that was a boiling over movement not only with Draymond but quite a few of the other warriors were frustrated with Poole’s attitude. The Warriors were able to keep him mostly under control due to being a veteran roster but now with no veterans to tell him to scale down his game and play team ball he takes way too many shots, he drives when the defense has shut down the lane, he rarely passes to open teammates either. He has let his attitude destroy his potential. I think while some are shocked by this cause it seems like he’s regressed his game, I disagree. The Warriors were able to cover up his weaknesses cause they had so much talent around an average nba player. He let his ego make himself believe he’s on the same level as his future hall of fame teammates but he’s not. If he humbles himself he still be a good player in the league.
When Poole said there is no more pressure when he got paid big, I truly remembered Kobe... who I'm sure would have thought "You got paid 5x more, the pressure now is 5x greater".
Stop expecting players to do what Kobe did someone like that is rare for every one guy who makes it 10 dont
Maybe he needs more time in the gleague
Deserves is wild
Jalen green is on the same path
He would do well on the bucks
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you want me
Cause baby there's no one that makes me smile
The way that you do, you're 1 of 13
SKIP
Click bait
well...he got paid.
best clown ever!
Poole says he's taken care of his family. But if his attitude doesn't change he'll be out of the league and will end up being a waiter, grease monkey or janitor because he spent his "bag" as foolishly as he threw away his gifts and his career
he is a chucker that already got his bag.......he'll redevote himself in his contract year, and they are not trading him right now with his ultra low value
the man hasnt regressed in skill he just stopped putting in the work he's on a non competative team and he's already gotten a ring he probably doesnt see a need in trying
Wizards fan here. As soon as I heard about this trade I was so disappointed. Knew right away he would be underwhelming
I honeslty did not expect jp to go for 30 I thought maybe 23 24 but with alot of big games so really like 18 or 19. BUT THIS IS CRAZY 😭😂😭😂
Damn bro I know brodi is down right now… but he needs to go on a mental break and isolate himself. Put in some work for a while come back better than ever.
You said Curry got him a bag. They got each other a bag. Poole stepped up when Curry was out remember that. Things don't always work out. Maybe he'll find his way, maybe not. He can have a down year, it's not like he is going to be a perennial Allstar. I mean he did have to go to the G league just a few seasons ago....
on god, he never was in the position for his contract anyway without that finals run when curry was out. Definitely earned and he still got years
Nah Curry got him a bag because Curry average 30 good team bad team it don't matter poole average 18 and 20 thanks to floor spacing from Curry and klay and 15 without them
@@rellllzzz2473 I will not take form that man's skill that he worked on in the G league and seized his moment. He did what he had to do. Curry got hurt and Poole kept them afloat. Curry played a role because Curry is the boat that lifts all sails. But Poole still had to perform or else he wouldn't have gotten shit.. I wouldn't have paid him. I would have paid other's and traded him and kept the depth they had like GP, Otto Porter, Bjelica etc...Poole was just cherry on top and idk how we did it but he got that bag...
When you get punched by a team mate and no one has your back afterwards, this is what happens lol
@brilliancewinz81 he has skill but playing with certain players makes it seem like you're better than you are. Cp3 and any center for example
Failure? He's richer than 99.99999% of people who have ever existed in human history and plays ball for a living. He's good enough to be in the league until his 30s. I wish I could fail like him.
is it failure if he got the bag??? i mean money bag not bag of skills....
yall set poole's expectation way too high he not gonna come out and put 30ppg season. It's only a month in and everyone thinks wizards tryna trade him. He's gonna have a lot of growing pains give him 1-2 seasons to really evaluate
also think about the fact that when he was with the warriors many teams had to scheme against curry first b4 poole, and now with poole being the supposedly 1-2 option on the team opponents are scheming against him more
lol "we were wrong" idk why tf anyone thought that anyways. its so easy to see dude is not it... Not the #1 option either they need to stop with that BS KK is better than him and hes on his team xD. dude has never ever once in his career had a better season than kyrie, but we all know kyrie is a #2 player on a team. Why did anyone ever assume he would be a #1? Thats the "i dont understand basketball and just re tell trends" in you fake fans coming out lol.
your logic is so flawed. lebron is a #2 on his team i guess you can't be a #1 even on a shitty team if you ain't better than bron. talk about "i dont understand basketball"
man just dont do the video of ur outfit / whatever tf that is. u have a fantastic voice, and i was enjoying the video until having to look at you. hate to be mean but i hope the criticism helps. video was fantastic otherwise.2
was gonna troll for the intro but i kinda forgot to take off the hat smh
First player to fail 2 months into the season. Thats a bad title
I’ve never seen a career 6th man who just got a starting job 20 games ago on a tanking team get so much hate.
The hate poole has gotten the last year is so disproportionate to his place in the NBA.
He gets superstar hate when hes still trying to find his place in the league. Its odd
Poole will be fine. Stop hating lol
that's exactly what's going on because when he was helping the warriors win they was praising him
Thank you. , I agree.
Can you do a hot take vid
Go to the Heat. They are best @developing/ rehabilitating talent.
Nah not anymore or Pat Riley is too old to command anyone now.
HAHahhahahahahah the ending, fucc it you earned this sub
🤝
I never enjoyed watching him play with that fake crossover carry move he does like an idiot.
Kuzma is a third option in a solid team
agree
I feel you 🤣 bros not tryna catch that copyright claim so for the sake of the video here are the lyrics for the Poole song:
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you want me
Cause baby there's no one that makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of A kind
See you lookin' my way
Make you feel some kinda way
I can tell that you want me
But you know what it will and what it won't be
They aint got my vibe
Ain't parta my tribe
Shit its like why try, you know?
They be all "my, my"
Hit em wit the bye bye
Out like the wi-fi
Let's go
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you Want me
Cause baby there's no one that Makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of A kind
No game but you're a different League
You ain't the same you kinda outta Reach
And I can tell that you ain't for the Street
You the type of man I seen

Let's hit 'em with the no show
They don't know what we know
Let's see how this episode plays Out
Stay on the high road
Sage and the palo
You know what I'm all about
Honey, I see you looking at me
I'm ready to go with you if you want me
Cause baby there's no one that makes me smile
The way that you do, you're one of a kind
Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
This ain't no disguise
Just the best of me
No problem 😉

Poole has certainly done some goofy things however I believe the Wizards are trying to help him. He's been assigned a coach by the Wizards named of David Vanterpool that you see working out with him. David is a top tier player development coach.
He is the coach who developed Damien Lillard, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and Shai Gilegous-Alexander. All top stars. The Wizards show him working with Poole all the time so I believe he'll help JP turn it around. Just give it time.
Can he change JP's ego though. Cause thats the huge problem with him. Ive seen lots of NBA players full egos and they end up not being in the NBA because their egos.
