Fenwick has been a great rod company as long as I can remember, 72 years so far. I have never broken one. "Gloom Is" break on small fish. St Cracks fail just above the handle on a big fish. Shakespeare are not fancy but sure hold up.
I have really liked fenwick rods for some time and have bought some of the newer eagles and HMGs. Mostly their walleye rods but I have a 6'8" Elite bass rod coming now. I noticed a recent video where you talked about using your Shimano Expride for your strolling. How would you compare the two for what you were using them for?
Fenwick has been awesome for years. This rod is good for strolling, but the Expride is definitely better for it. This Elite is more of an all-around rod that can do it all.
@@TylerBrinks I suspected that might be the case. I am familiar with Fenwick's actions and like them but they don't typically follow the trend when it comes to strolling rods. I'm sure it will work just fine and like you said it will be versatile. 6'8-6'10 is what I like for walleye anyways. For 3 years I didn't buy any rods but then last year I bought over 15 of them with half of them being fenwicks. 😅😅
@@TylerBrinksGot mine delivered a week ago and you’re right. Awesome rod. Grip is much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I want a casting model now but the lure ratings are pretty strange compared to what I’m used to seeing.
Their CS is top notch. Had a rod break and just sent a pic and they sent an upgraded replacement no questions asked.
That's great to hear!

Yes, Fenwick is legendary but they are making a big push now with new rods. Thanks for watching!

fenwick grips are the best in the game
they are nice! Thanks for watching.
After a couple months how are you liking the reel seat? Is the grip awkward, hurt your hands, etc? Good looking rod.
Really like it, the grip is comfortable. Very light rod that's been fun to use.

Purefishing should be changing manufacturers and trying to revive this brand
They’ve made big changes with rod designers from Loomis.
Talks way to much about nothin
thanks for watching!
