Super excited to get my hands on the new 2023 Fenwick rods!
My entire active fishing collection of Fenwick rods from fresh to salt have always surpass all other brands in my opinion. Being a former tackle junky, ive sold my vast collection of rods and have only keep Fenwick rods. Thank you Fenwick!

When are these going to be available in retail stores? I want to try the HMG 6'9" Medium-Light XF 1-piece Spinning version for walleye jigging this year, but cant find these new designs anywhere yet. Please tell me you are pressing on Cabelas in Canada to carry these new rods soon!

The HMX line has been discontinued, however you might be able to find retailers online who still have inventory and can ship directly to your door.

the taper should NOT NOT NOT change in one specific point! This is your problem, not an advantage! Makes for having two different blanks, superglued together! The action should be parabolic, or progressive, and you can make it as progressive as you want, but the rate of progression should be CONSTANT. Otherwise you have no continuity in the blank. You can tell these stories to the old guys and impress them, but if you want to sell these rods to young people, you have to reconsider that. You make Beautiful, high quality rods, with Sh1tti Actions, precisely because the taper changes in some point of the rod.
