I watch travel vlogs, but i don't know what keeps me glued to your videos for 50 mins.......awesome Video, man....You nearly used all the transports in kolkata, unplanned and in 1 day .....That's Amazing...!!!!
An unplanned exploration turned out to be fantastic. Cheers Dale.
This video made me happy, I was so much home sick, perfect video, made my day, hope you enjoyed your stay at Kolkata, please do visit again once everything gets back to normal, I am from Kolkata
Watching my City during quarantine through your blog . Feels refreshing, can't wait to be back to streets
Love the "keep your change" gesture. You're very kind. These are very poor people but still won't rip your off because you are not a local (most of them at least).
Superb vlog Dale!!!! Watched it in parts throughout the day!
Dale I lived in in Kolkata years ago. While I saw the video I just lived the moment 😀.I miss the Briyani,😋
Stop crossing roads like that. That hand thing works, but there is a a sweet speed gap that Indians recognise. You are doing when the signals are open. Be safe, a lot of people die in India due to jaywalking.
The Taxi man said its 30 but he can pay me 50. Well done for not giving him 100 Dale.
Maybe Dale should learn numbers in hindi so he'll know if he's being scammed or not lol
When we go on a foreign tour even they charge us double of the actual fare......so whats the mistake of that poor taxi man.....we indians should show some unity
@@akpiplodwala4008 Never happens in western countries Dale is from Scotland, everyone is charged the same for tours. Taxis drivers in western countries always use the meter, everyone pay the same. Only countries with different pricing is Asian countries and developing countries.
@@tubester4567 last year i travelled to Los angeles they charged me more than the actual fare....he started arguing .....this shows that you western people will never understand about poverty.....
@@akpiplodwala4008 Who is "they" and what fare are you talking about. It sounds like a bullshit story because prices are fixed for all transport, except for taxis and ubers, but Taxis use meters and Uber gives you an estimate. If your Uber tried to Jib you, you can make a complaint, and leave a bad rating. Then the driver will be fired.
Poverty is not an excuse to discriminate against people. When a rich Indian born in the west goes to India does he get charged more? No. Its also dumb, because most westerners will pay extra and leave a large tip when they are being treated fairly. They will make MORE money being honest.
You're the best vlogger and I've watch all the big travel vlogger's videos. You get straight to it and don't take any BS lol
I love the fact that you give the deserving poor people tips and the remaining change
Very entertaining. What we need now is a guy from Kolkata exploring transport around Glasgow on a Friday night 😀
I'd watch that.
Dale let me tell you something, you are so fabulous in each video. The positive energy that you extrude in your travel videos is phenomenal and fantastic. I am so glad that you visited India 🇮🇳 and exploring the depths of each culture along with some magical Indian cuisines. More power to you and your videos. Peace and love Dale. ❤️✌🏼
The old tram is amazing! but it's a bit dangerous because it stops in the middle of a busy road.
But then it is fun adventurer! Fantastic!
Only I feel sorry for the man-ricshaw's transport. Fortunately, you paid double. Bravo! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome video Dale Philip wonderful
I have binged watched all of your videos Dale..... Absolutely love your videos mate...Keep going strong
30:40 u should find a lover who looks at u like he is looking at Dale's wallet
He's already going to get 4times the amount.
In kolkata we call "taka" instead of rupees !!! That was the reason they didn't understand dale
Momtaj K taka is just a colloquial term for money....that too only for Bengali people! Not to forget our currency is rupee not taka!
@@tarang643 all the eastern states call it taka... Oridisha bengal 7north east... Thanks taka is not Bangladeshi taka(bdt)... Taka is rupees,, we will keep calling it taka...
Rupees is the mughol term
..Sanskrit is taka
@@ichamatitales9459 i never said that taka should not be used..... obviously taka word is used but is a colloquial term....it cannot be used instead of rupees . When already it is the currency of another country....What you're saying is to discourage the Currency of the country . FYI , Both the words have sanskrit origin 🙃. I am a Bengali too and I know my state very well and I 'm also well aware of the fact that even illiterate people here aren't that foolish to not be able to recognise rupees . Stop misrepresenting the place..... remember all the places you've mentioned are a part of india and our currency is Rupees😊 no matter what term is used locally anywhere. Each and every word for once can be dismissed but not the one which is by order from the constitution 👍👍
@@ichamatitales9459 There is no harm in calling it taka in the very first place but for a foreigner such local words are totally an alien concept!
There's definately something addictive about your vlogs
i really don t understand whether this was a comody vlog or a travel vlog.... its so hilarious man...loved it...
Dale you always let the poor shopkeepers to keep the change so kind hearted you are...
With love from kolkata
When you said Park circus, at 28 minutes that time my stationary shop was behind you on your left with blue gate.....sory bro for the taxi man charging you double.
When i went to India first in 1993, the park before Vicoria Memorial was a lot more dirty than the greenery you visited next to Elliot park.
Yeah, the "DO NOT HONK" sign isn't going to do much in India is it?
🤣 exactly
We will honk, even if driving alone on the road.
In India, People intentionally remove silencer from their bike to make it sound more louder in crowd. They sometimes replace the original Honk with a train one. Here, Peoples honk even on an empty streets. India is world honking capital.
There are plz honk sign in India :)
You will be penalised for honking unnecessarily in Kathmandu
epal. Modification of horn and silencer are not permitted and subject to be seized with heavy penalty.
It's very nice that you gave them extra money to keep.
They work very hard for their livelihood
You are nice man Dale
