the issue of the garnet pieces *can be fixed* with using 2 link spiders, a g golem crystal hearts and an apollausa or heatsoul. normal piece > link spider > spider SS a piece > make a 2nd spider > make g golem > golem reborn spider > make heatsoul (or an apollausa if you have a shield or something on field) its a very low cost, normal summon dependant engine thats almost entirely in the extra deck. in a deck where theres no normal summon and little need for the extra deck, it fits really well.
You do realize that millennium cross doesn't allow you to reveal pieces in the gy right? I experimented with a link line myself but that basically dooms the line on the spot
This deck means Giant Trunade cannot ever be unbanned now. Trunade chain Obliterate Blaze, you get the five exodia pieces in your spell trap, then immediately bounce them all to hand.
It's been a while since you made the comment so you must have realized by now: while "Obliterate!!! Blaze" is a Quick-Spell, its effect is to *give* Exodia an Ignition Effect. Speed 1. You cannot chain the (1) effect that equips the five Forbidden One pieces to it, to anything. It must be CL1. Likewise, activating "Obliterate!!! Blaze" in the Battle Phase is just a waste of a turn. And finally, there must be a S/T on the field to even be able to activate that effect after Obliterate Blaze has resolved...
I do find it crazy just how consistent this deck is. There are 4 ways to get to Ankh and even more ways once Blue-eyes of the Heart comes out mainly due to it being a Blue-eyes card. Been using the new Prayers With Eyes of Blue to get Veiler and Bingo Machine Go, which finds me Heart. This also means I can lower the monster count of the deck, which makes it easier to fit protection for Exodia with cards like Eagle Booster. Definitely not a fan of Obliterate Break as it feels like overkill 90% of the time, though I do like the idea of using the extra bodies your stuck with for Silhouhatte for an extra interaction that isn't predicated on the monsters mismatching levels. Golem and Wedju are really good in decks that like their monsters as spells, my favorite being Gate Guardians, which actually allows you to get some use out of those god awful support spells graveyard effects

On a side note if you run veiler you can easily access Muddragon to make Millennium Eye-Restrict which doesn't get spun by Ahnk. Also there is a millennium eyes card that is searchable and turns it into a quick effect suck.
The out is use Exodia to search Fires of Rage and hope they don’t negate the Exodia because they don’t know what your deck does, then flip it next turn before scooping.
"Hadn't decided what a milennium item was yet." Granted someone needed to have figured out the method of their creation first, which probably means many more people died to create these than just the 7 we know, even if not simultaneously in the same dimension/timeline.
Will always laugh/cry when I see this deck because of one specific game where my opponent activated Dimension Shifter in draw phase and then proceeded to break what board I managed to assemble with Lava Golem and Super Poly. Aaaaaaaaand then activated ankh in hand after summoning 3 of the guys and proceeded to attack for well over game. Sometimes your opponent just draws better.
This is really the only thing I wanted from INFO. I don't care if it's not competitive. I want to be a cringe weeb and play an Exodia archetype without dropping $300 for it to be a side quest for Fiendsmith.
@@rotex03 cobalt eagle can use its effect on the field to put itself back into deck if you draw it, keeping rainbow live. Its not great but better than the other options.
If you have the bodies you can special a sangenjin, then tribute golem/shield for a second sangenjin, get a monster, then hop into your extra deck for 2 level 8 summon xyz cards or links. Having a few backup plans is the way to go. There are 12 other cards you can play on the extra deck all which should be side strategies if otk isn’t an option.
At 10:44 you could have used the Exodia fusion to negate the effect of Nightmare Pain to make it fizzle when the opponent uses Phantom of Yubel instead of using Exodia on the activation of Pain
Funny thing I realized at locals: Unstoppable Exodia Incarnate absolutely FOLDS to Tenpai. Sure, the backrow can get negated, but what will you do when you have Meteorburst or Transcendent on the field? Can't gain the attack at all, so Exodia goes from a massive body to a 0 attack target

Worth noting on this deck: you can THEORETICALLY set up Promethean Princess by searching for a trap monster like Swamp Mirrorer or Quantum Cat off Rabbit and then linking it off for Phoenix or Whale. Princess stays in grave after Ahnk, so it works! It's just bad.
I added a branded fusion package to summon millennium eyes restrict (I think it isnt bounced by millenium cross) to provide an extra monster negate I also added one millennium-eyes illusionist, that can be searched off of sengenjin to provide an extra negate when millennium eyes restrict is on field.
They need to make a card that can quick discard itself to search millennium cards then mulligan pieces. Also can exchange itself for an Exodia piece from deck, and mulligan any other, and then place itself back into the deck from gv or banish and mulligan any pieces anywhere only drawing based on what’s put back from hand or field. It would flip the horrible consistency and bricking problem of the deck and it still would be just okay as a control deck, I mean while power the boards this puts up are not exactly worth the 1/4 of your deck that’s purely bricks, it had to be overly consistent to overcome how horribly bricky is is. The card would also null the Exodia win condition when used from deck for the match, to make only support for this, and not for any FTKs.
If you find this video because you're trying to build the deck, know 2 things have changed. 1.) The deck has gotten stronger with in archetype support, blue-eyes of the heart. 2.) People that play this archetype have been performing cold fusion to make this deck more diverse including testing the additions of fiendsmiths, blackwings and millennium eyes restrict. Each is unique approach to not be limited by ankhs shuffle effect.

you should try out the Gold Pride P.U.N.K. version of this deck, not linear whatsoever with the ability to pretty consistently make OTKs thru Psychic End Punisher and the cost of the Millennium monsters. i've been having a lotta fun with it
tell me you didn't just read "lose 1000 lp" and think "ooh! dinomorphia synergy!" as if dinomorphia doesn't already natively have no trouble whatsoever chasing itself down to 1k lp after resolving 2 trap effects and 2 fusion monster effects on the second turn if anything, there's anti-synergy. imagine the exodia fusion attacking for 500 damage. or 50. or 5. tbf tho, no normal summon means therizia goes crazy. and therizia plays REALLY well with millennium ankh

It's Tenpai-lite but it can go first. its a lot of fun, but the life point to search is the biggest downside, followed by the lack of a good monster negate. Fortunately, the next set should include "Blue-Eyes of the Heart", which searches Ankh for free. Also, maddeningly, "Obliterate! Blaze" is a quick-play spell that gives Exodia an ignition effect.
PUNK Millennium is an interesting hybrid. You dont play the Fusion and 1 Ankh (3 Sen and 3 Shield). Losing LP, comboing and going into End Punisher is pretty cool. I cant recall if you run Golem and Temple though.
I wouldn’t say their solely material for fiendsmith closed heaven plus 1 other millennium monster is goddess field negation plus removing 2 monster on the field that’s really good for 6K LP going 2nd

If you play a Hex Sealed Fusion you can normal it to fuse with a Millenium monster to make Millenium Eyes Restrict, which stays on field after ankh. It's not good but it's funny.
Considering that this is a series about testing the decks, it's kind of funny that he usually seems to have made up his mind about how powerful they are before he starts recording the video. Not that I think he's wrong or anything.
Any idea if adventure engine could be used in this deck since it doesn't care about its normal summon or does the fateful adventure being in the spell/ trap zone clog up too much board space? Edit: nevermind, I just read our insanely restrictive ankh is, so it would get rid of your token / gryffin anyway lol
because he couldn't, and no one ever could. hugin can't protect entire fields, at least from full board wipes, because it can't somehow destroy itself as a substitute for itself also being destroyed
ever since these cards were announced I've been wondering if it's possible to make a gimmicky OTK deck (I guess teeeechnically two turns) that gets you all five pieces of exodia with obliterate blaze and then immediately returns them all to your hand when the next turn starts and the effect lockout ends
You only can't activate effects after the card. You can chain it to a mass spell bounce like Giant Trunade, and so in theory it should just bounce the 5 pieces back as it resolves.
This deck is so funny, it's running 5 garnets but if you open all 5 you win instantly. Truly the future of yugioh

If you play a Hex Sealed Fusion you can normal it to fuse with a Millenium monster to make Millenium Eyes Restrict, which stays on field after ankh. It's not good but it's funny.
Considering that this is a series about testing the decks, it's kind of funny that he usually seems to have made up his mind about how powerful they are before he starts recording the video. Not that I think he's wrong or anything.

Any idea if adventure engine could be used in this deck since it doesn't care about its normal summon or does the fateful adventure being in the spell/ trap zone clog up too much board space?

because he couldn't, and no one ever could. hugin can't protect entire fields, at least from full board wipes, because it can't somehow destroy itself as a substitute for itself also being destroyed

ever since these cards were announced I've been wondering if it's possible to make a gimmicky OTK deck (I guess teeeechnically two turns) that gets you all five pieces of exodia with obliterate blaze and then immediately returns them all to your hand when the next turn starts and the effect lockout ends
You only can't activate effects after the card. You can chain it to a mass spell bounce like Giant Trunade, and so in theory it should just bounce the 5 pieces back as it resolves.
9:38 so why couldn't the opponent just chain Diabell to SS Rciela and protect Diabell, Silvera, and Rciela? Am I missing something or?
