Dec. 12, 1970 at the Warehouse in New Orleans. The disastrous performance would bring the group to a screeching halt and prove sadly prophetic for the doomed Morrison, who had only months to live.
Very decent cover, everybody did their homework and made it happen. The most believable was the keyboardist, one of the toughest guys ever to emulate, and did a great job. Thanks for posting.
Whoa! That singer sounds JUST like Jim!! Well done!! Looks like him too. So does the guy doing Ray Manzarek. And their cover versions of Doors songs are near perfect. Amazing!
Wow.This band is so tight like the Doors.Every member is awesome here.Ive been into the Doors for 30years,this has to be one of the greatest Doors cover bands ever.
I remember in the 70's my older brother bought the Doors Greatest hits on 8 Track in quadraphonic. If you listened to it on a non-quad player you could hear separate parts of the song. The most chilling was the whispering part was clear. Pretty cool in the 70's!
very nice guys. much of the people who comment negative don't even know how to play an instrument. As a piano player i know how much effort it takes to play riders on the storm. this band is very very good and the best doors tribute. please ignore the negative comments guys, because they dont know what it is like playing real music by themselves
Well here is my comment I would truly like to say thank you you are a very special person I do not know how you were able to rip these music video tapes down but you know what I thank you I thank you very deeply and another man iSyncr I need a visual what can I say we are going to go to that place in heaven one day and I hope to meet them there
Great to See these Guys Live Tonite Carnglaze Caverns- Cave Rave-Cornwall England-MUST SEE DOORS FANS!!! Hope to See The Doors In Concert Again 2024-If I'm/Were All Alive LOL!!!
That was spotless!! I was wondering how it could have been that good at that point in the Doors career, because Morrison cold have never held it together like this at that point.
They bring back memories to me! The lead singer is AWESOME! He needs to do his hair like Jim and dress like Jim. He misses some notes but the organ guy is AWESOME!
Not to take anything away from their performance they were pretty good but Jim Morrison singing those lyrics there’s just some ecstatic feeling to it that can’t be replicated by anyone. Also the quality of Ray manzareck.....unmatched
it is very exciting....I'm sure the only live version of this song that the doors played at State Fair Music Hall - Dallas 11 dec 1970 sounded like this more or less... (that concert was recorded only the first part, unfortunately the recording of the second part with riders on the storm never arrived to us) many many thanks from Italy
Jim n ray are looking down and clapping. Long live. What a musical poetic genius and brilliant man he was and ray was a beast on the wood. Ahhhh Fucken monstahhhhhh
This is pretty f****** unreal completely blew my mind wow absolutely amazing down the doors wormhole of RUclips I found this so stoked I did this guy's got it they've got the Gibson SG lead singers wearing the white shirt they actually look like him except for the drummer but no big deal these guys got this s*** absolutely crazy mind-boggling Insanity what the f u c k
Riders On The Storm was the last song the Doors recorded just before Jim left for Paris...and so they never got the chance to perform it in concert!
actually i think they performed it once to a small audience at their second to last show with jim.
Dec. 12, 1970 at the Warehouse in New Orleans. The disastrous performance would bring the group to a screeching halt and prove sadly prophetic for the doomed Morrison, who had only months to live.
um.... didnt i just watch them perform it in concert?
@@notademonrat No. That’s not The Doors, my dude.
So there is no footage of him performing this? Even in studio?
Wow. Fantastic tribute band! You are making The Doors proud.
Very decent cover, everybody did their homework and made it happen. The most believable was the keyboardist, one of the toughest guys ever to emulate, and did a great job. Thanks for posting.
My thoughts exactly 👍 thanks for posting this video!
Exactly Ray the whole producer and maestro of The Doors 🚪 impossible to emulate and this comes about as close as one could in terms of piano depth
It's not a "cover". It's a "DOORS" Song, no ?
Damn I thought for some minutes they were really THE DOORS !!! (wondering why the image quality is so good in the meanwhile...)
Absolutely!
I had to get myself focused for a minute. damn they are good. This tribute act is called Riders On The Storm?
Hahahahahha got same impression here ,they i said wtf
Same, but i read your comment XD
I knew right away. Doors never played this song live at a concert. This band did a great job all the same
Whoa! That singer sounds JUST like Jim!! Well done!! Looks like him too. So does the guy doing Ray Manzarek. And their cover versions of Doors songs are near perfect. Amazing!
There's only one Doors..
..
Probably my favorite Doors tribute band!! And I’m a die hard Doors fan.
I've seen a number of 'cover bands' and this one ... holy cow! It's like being back in (ok, a few many decades for me) there (again).
Took me a min to realize I wasn’t just watching the real doors in crazy quality
Bruh literally I'm stoned asf rn 😭😂

God damn it !!! For a few minutes I think they were the original Doors !!! They’re really good 😱😱😱
Thanks this is a real live version that matters. It show the horsepower of the band. The groove flows fine.
i never get tired of this song
The best cover you will ever hear
Woahhhhhh I am so blown away you guys are awesome and man that Jim...
just close your eyes and listen. These guys literally sound like the real band. Amazing.
No need to close your eyes they look like them too🐮

Yeah that reminded me of "Since I've Been Loving You" from Led Zeppelin, you can hear the drum pedal squeaking right in the beggining :D
4 masters of their trade. A dream to see and hear the guys again.
Amazing Tribute Band
It's really impressive how good u guys r
Wow. Great performance, totally does justice to the legend.
Damn. I'm in shock! Amazing live version!
Simply amazing tribute to the original Doors.
Awesome. Sounds like The Doors. Love it so much.
These guys are actually pretty good!

+Wim W It was because of the missleading title not the music
ik man love the doors music anyway
I totally agree!!!
Ray is fantastic keepin the base line running
I was in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main and this was wonderful!
Absolutely flawless these guys nailed it
these guys are amazing . i grew up listening to the doors , believe me , these guys are great.

The musios are brilliant. Love it.

Wow, if I wouldn’t had seen the description I would’ve thought it was the actual band, amazing job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I think Jim. Would like these guys for keeping it alive
+Guy Allman if you think that you probably didn't read enough about Jim. Keep searching bro.
I think he would've said 'man do your own thing'
I think this band did pretty well actually, no they're not the doors but they didn't do bad at all.
I agree - Not bad at all
Indeed. But they may be sued for using on stage the actual logo of the Doors printed on drums…
The singer on the side, the rest of the band does a real great job in my eyes.
Great to See these Guys Live Tonite Carnglaze Caverns- Cave Rave-Cornwall England-MUST SEE DOORS FANS!!! Hope to See The Doors In Concert Again 2024-If I'm/Were All Alive LOL!!!
Great stuff! A magical song, great cover

boy, lots of 16 year olds in this comment section. seemed like a great cover to me.
Just AMAZING!!!
This was his last recording? Thank God. It's my favorite song of all time. Quite an epitaph...
Very good indeed,.....I wish I could see the full live show!!! ;)
Sounds just like the record I think so awesome
They bring back memories to me! The lead singer is AWESOME! He needs to do his hair like Jim and dress like Jim. He misses some notes but the organ guy is AWESOME!

These Guys Rock!!
❤ love this song
Fucking classic. I love the Rhodes that "Ray" is jamming on too.
The singer looks like Cumberpatch the actor.
Very good!!! It`s very similar, i'm surprised!!
it is very exciting....I'm sure the only live version of this song that the doors played at State Fair Music Hall - Dallas 11 dec 1970 sounded like this more or less...

francesco mazza ~Check out riders of the storm" LIVE at the Warehouse " from Late 1970; by the doors. its up on ytube at long last!
brilliant...keep it going. thx
even the singer looks and sounds like Jim Morrisson
Anugerah Ardiansyah tribute bands are a joke, embarrassing pathetic, supergay, superlame
Anugerah Ardiansyah Looks absolutely, without a doubt nothing like Morrison. Sound is good though.

Great job - no doubt about it!!
Well this is actually excellent.
Great cover!
Jim n ray are looking down and clapping. Long live. What a musical poetic genius and brilliant man he was and ray was a beast on the wood. Ahhhh Fucken monstahhhhhh
He nailed the vocal 100 percent
Sounds just like Jim, amazing.
Muito bom....Ouço the doors à muitos anos, nunca ouvi um cover desse nível, achei muito interessante.

Can you just imagine being in the audience back then. Wow! Amazing
Yes. I was at a concert in Texas. The audience? Probably mostly dead now, but OMG it was electric. For a 17 y/o it was beyond the best.
this is a pretty good cover band!
LEGEND IS A LEGEND.
J’apprécie leur musique de plus en plus ❤
