I'm gonna miss the 2-tone design language of the H510. A clean white exterior combined with a matte black interior really worked imo, hiding cables and making parts look cohesive. The pure white is harder to work with.
I really like the design of H7 Flow white/black. I don't understand why NZXT doesn't extend the perforated front panel to the bottom for more airflow. It would unify the design language, but I can see laziness/recycling of H510 parts for the H5 product family. 🤦♂ Will there be FloFlo Edition next year?
Never fails! Look and look for a case, finally decide on one, and a company announces/releases a new case. Love the air intake in the bottom. Wish more companies would do it.
be quiet cases have a fan in the bottom middle of the case, really good if you invert the motherboard so the ram sits just beside the fan. i dont use this fan spot in my be quiet 802 so i cant really speak to performance with it
NZXT has come a long way since the plastic fantastic Phantom series and their brute force airflow. I like how you were able to fit T-Force Xtreem tall ram with the Kraken 240mm on top. This bodes well for clearance with water cooling and top mounted AIO, and it's still smaller than a Corsair 4000D. Having fit an SSI-EEB Z9PR-D8 motherboard in an S340 and H500, the removable cable management bar is still a win.
I always like how the h500 looked. Super minimal, angular and clean. Even though it had trash thermals, I loved the aesthetic. Not a huge fan of the Swiss cheese front panel look 😢 I really feel like this killed the design aesthetic of the case that they had in the first place.
I'm loving the intake scoop - GPU's are getting more power hungry so this is a good thing! And glad to see support for top AIO - I've never been comfortable about pulling warm air in to the case
Im using white H510 in two builds. That case was a steal and offered great cooling performance in small factor form. Only downfall was space for single fan at the top up to 140mm without dust filter. This restricted aio to 120mm at the back or 280mm in the front that wasn't ideal for airflow. H510 performs best with 2x140mm intake fans in front and single exhaust fan at the back and top. H5 fixed all of this, looks like solid evolution 👍

At a first glance I thought the bottom fan intake to be kind of wonky, but honestly, for such a design rigid company like NZXT to embrace new things is a breath of fresh air.
Since theyre making all white cases now i really wish their other components got that same treatment (PSU, all white keyboard and mouse, all white monitor no black bezels)
I just ordered the h7 flow. This case solved the only gripe I have with the h7 which is lack of thumb screw which I'm afraid that might pop out during moving around
I have the H7 Flow and it is such a great minimalist design, yes it could do with a thumb screws but as I do not move my case not too much of an issue but it should be there...Still you will be more than happy...
If you're moving your computer around often enough to worry about that then you shouldn't be buying a full tower case in the first place. Maybe a smaller form factor would suit you
@@Criiies I only have 1 travel trip planned ahead which is a transpacific flight and I plan to leave it in my checked suitcase (removing the gpu and filling the gaps with clothes). Beyond that it’s gonna sit on the table for most of the time.
I got a white and black Nzxt h510 flow case. I like the two tone. Gives it more character. I think it would've looked better if you went with a black power supply and cables to give it that contrast
1:49 I checked out this case at a Microcenter and disappointingly this top flap isn't much of a dust filter. It's just a perforated slab of plastic. I need a dust filter on top for when the PC is at rest to prevent some dust settling into the case.
For those of us who still prefer our mechanical disk spinning monstrosities for large storage, you mentioned this entire scoop along with the fan bowl can be removed, so is it possible to mount third party cage or directly hack in one or two 3.5" drives with some spacers/brackets between them?
I wish they would revive the H400 sized case cus they don't really have any good MATX options anymore the H210 is a nice size for what I'm thinking if but itx stuff is slightly out of my budget. Is the Fractal Pop Air Mini a good option?
@@everai83 I think they are keeping their naming scheme from their old cases, like the h710 to h7, and h510 to h5, so an h2 would make sense. But, the h2 would be the only even number, and an h3 would make the sequence complete, going h1, h3, h5, h7.
I got the H7 flow =) very happy with it, i also have couple of H510 flow too, one is my streamer pc and the second one is one that im slowly building in to sell when done =)

Looks like NZXT is doing to pc cases what Henry Ford did with the Model T. Which is keep releasing the same thing but make improvements with each release.
I’m a little late to this video, but I have one question. How is the clearance between the ram and the top mounted liquid cooler? And would it have clearance for standard size ram like the Corsair vengeance ddr4? If anyone could help me that would be great! 😊
I got a H510, 3900X, 48GB Ram, Dual m.2 SSD, one HDD and rx6700 and it doesnt cause trouble. Surely it has bad airflow by default, but it's far from unsolvable.
I was going to but lost my NZXT RGB hub so had to use an NZXT board with their stupid RGB headers. I had already filmed the build with the z790-a too. I had to refilm half of that section
I like this case. Not tower cooler big but big enough to accommodate a large motherboard. Sometimes some cases looks just too big for my liking. Although going mITX is a good option, there seems to be lower mITX products in the market right now. I just hope they don't die just yet. This PC case is definitely a great size to cooling for an average everyday build.
i actually have a Corsair 4000D Airflow and the look of this case are so boring, i will swap for this case because it's so much beautiful. i have all NF-A12X25 with a NH-U12A, the Corsair is good but not that beautiful and boring to look.
This is such a beautiful build. I have a few questions.... Will a 6800 XT fit in this case? also, where can I get those RGB cables that connect to the GPU? OR does that come with the GPU and can I use a ASUS ROG Strix B550-F motherboard with this case
You'd have to check the size of the GPU you are getting and check the specs for the case for the gpu length it supports Lian Li Strimer Plus And yes since that board is a ATX
omg I already bought the RTX 4080 asus tuf and the NZXT H5 Flow, Iam still waiting the MB NZXT Z790 and the ram modules ddr5 to start to build the pc, I hope that Iam not going to have issues for about the space :c

In the same boat with my NZXT s340, airflow is terrible.
And yet the h510 flow has better gpu temperatures without one.
be quiet cases have a fan in the bottom middle of the case, really good if you invert the motherboard so the ram sits just beside the fan. i dont use this fan spot in my be quiet 802 so i cant really speak to performance with it

The H510 was my first case before upgrading to 5000D Airflow, and I still have it all boxed up, this case is awesome.

Been using this case for months now and I love it! All white build and the lower fan for the GPU really helps a lot with the temps!

i'd love to see what the thermals are with a front mounted intake 280 aio and the 2 120's to exhaust. I am seeing a lot of 240 aio top mounted.

Lovely case but a bit bigger (wider) than the 510 so won’t fit my media centre. Will need to get the 510 still. Hopefully it goes on sale!
