I definitely needed this video because I woke up today wanting to get so much done and I am struggling. When my girls go to school, I still have 3 boys under 3 at home and I feel so defeated when I don't get done what I wanted to get done or if I get something done, I feel like these boys are right behind me pulling it right back out lol. I love when I can relate to someone who struggles with the same feelings we all have and is 100% honest & real about it. Thank you for this mama, keep up the great work because you are doing amazing!🥰
I wish we were neighbors and I could either help you or watch the boys for an hour or so ❤ We have 7 kids, all teens now but I remember the early years and how exhausted I was and also how bad our house was, I could never catch up.

You would think so, Helena, but I am not even gonna lie, I was that 17 & 26 year old at times, not cleaning up after myself haha. That wasn't that long ago for me lol I am only 30! The struggle is real but I like to think we all get there eventually, some just take more time than others lol@@helena6533
Great inspiration. Karrie, I too like to clean in silence. Tv on is a no no!!! I get sucked in & next think I know 2 hours have passed & I got nothing done. I know housekeeping is a never ending job, but, it does make me feel so much better if my home is clean & everything is put away. I try to go to bed with the living room picked up & the kitchen clean. Feels so good in the morning to start your day that way. Oh I love the sign you have in your laundry room. Girl yes! My daughter is 12 & those years went in a blink of a eye 😢. So I’m soaking in every moment I can with my son who’s 5 1/2 months. Even when he’s a little fussy because I know this stage passes so fast! For instance my 5 1/2 month old son is in 6-9 months clothes some 12! Like slow down little man ! Thankful for my partner because I get to stay home and take care of them and our home. I was working most of my daughter’s life because I was a single mom and missed out on so much for her. So I completely understand what you mean ❤ Enjoy all the little moments because it really goes by fast & you can never get that time back.
Hi Karrie. Suze Orman is one Financial Advisor I've been following for years. She's a straight shooter, tell you like it is and speaks to you about money challenges as just that. If you approach your finances with a positive mindset the work will come with motivation and stride. Financial goals are achievable. One of the best advice she said years ago was to pay yourself first. Not what I expected but no truer words were said.
Give yourself some grace, Karrie. You work hard to provide a good home and be a supportive, loving mom and wife. We all have bad days but they will never define us 🫶🏽

I love how real you are and every time I watch your videos I wish florida and Kansas weren't so far apart because I feel like you'd be an incredible friend to have! I feel like we have so many things in common from motherhood and how you parent, diys, homemaking, how you make sure everyone knows your life isn't perfect but you do your best to enjoy moments and see them as important, all the way down to making a cleaning task list to keep you on track... these are all things I enjoy! So yea, wishing you were closer! I've even considered starting a RUclips channel but scared to start and fail but also have no clue what I'm doing 😂 so I will just watch your videos here on this channel and your other channel!

As moms we have lots on our plates however it’s the GRACE that the LORD provides that will get US through daily! WE know when HE provides it…as we realize the stuff we get done big or small. The rat race is not going to work anymore for me…😳too stressful! 👍I too make list only on notecards though…and mark off what I do…trash the completed ones and or rewrite the leftover task. Works for me! I do have a planner for other things that I record. I do things in my home quietly too! So so PEACEFUL!
I get you on the kids…love those babies…I only have one! I just love everyone else’s and miss mine who is growing up however I am adjusting to every stage and appreciating every moment. Always there though!❤ He is good about telling me he appreciates my help or guidance. So sweet…😃😉a 15 yr old who recognizes my presence!

I don’t do credit cards and my philosophy is if you don’t have it save for it because if you do credit cards you get into financial trouble and stay in debt. I have to wait on some stuff I want longer but it’s worth it to stay out of debt. I saved like crazy for my husband’s dream mower and he got it 2 summers ago and it was an early Christmas and birthday gift and I paid cash and trust me it wasn’t cheap it is a zero turn but besides his regular job he mows 9 yards so it was worth it and he loves it! You just need to find what works for you. I save like crazy for things we want and I just don’t want debt to get it because in the long run I want to enjoy what I get and not be thinking I’m still paying for that 5 years down the road. Do I make sense or am I rambling? lol just figure out what works best for you and your family.

I don’t listen to anything when I clean either, ever. I’ll listen to podcasts, Crime Junkies, The Deck and I Will Teach You To Be Rich, by Ramit Sethi, when I’m at work or watch him & my other YT’s (it’s pretty laid back at work).
I really like Financial Feminist. Very positive and supportive (versus judge mental and unreasonable advice).
I also really enjoy financial content. Different Ramsey personalities have RUclips channels I like watching/listening to. George Kamel is very informative and funny. The Rachel Cruze Show is also good to stay motivated. John Delony is interesting for the psychology behind money decisions. I think you guys made a wise decision with the house. Hope things go well on your journey to get out of debt and save for your future home. ❤

OMG I am right there with you on the kid stuff. I had to have a hysterectomy two years ago and for some reason it’s been hitting me hard lately. What’s that saying? The days are long, but the years are short. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it. My daughter is seven my son is two and sometimes I wish I could go back and tell myself to just breathe that everything will be fine. I’m trying so hard to just soak it all in and be here in the moment. By the way, you really should be proud when you see yourself getting all this done! Thank you for the content, as always💜

The only schedule I stick to is my laundry and I do my laundry every Sunday. It’s only mine and my husbands so it’s not bad and I also do my bedding. Cleaning wise I have to be in the mood so a schedule just doesn’t work for me. 😂
I can’t work with a schedule because everyday is different I might have a headache or I might need to sleep or visit with my daughter. I live on my own dishes can sit like you said pick your battle
Try listening to the budget mom. Listen to her whole story. Where she came from. She also has a book my money my way. I gave it to my granddaughter when she graduated high school.

Buying a house on land was me and my husband's dream too, and we found the place of our dreams almost 3 years ago and we bought it but we found out why it was so cheap, it was because the property is in a flood zone and it floods at least once a year so now we are in the process of buying a new house which is on a smaller piece of land because the price of everything is so expensive but it just makes more sense to buy something else and move verses taking a chance of losing the house and all of our belongings due to the property flooding. We are hoping to be moved in our new house by the beginning of November. Which our new home is a fixer upper which the one we are in now was a fixer upper with some things that still need to be done but I told my husband I don't want to spend anymore money on this place unless it is a must.

Washing dark clothes with light or white clothes makes the light colored clothes dingy towels and such in a separate load also… I thought you were going to hang clothes outside???😁

What we do with Laundry is every one has a different day to wash their clothes. We do a load of towels every other day.on Friday we wash day care sheets and blankets. My husband washes his clothes on Saturday

Yes but I still prefer bottled water these were left over I couldn't figure out who's they were so I pour them in coffee maker 🤣

Hey Karrie, Happy Wednesday. I feel like if you have a family, one load a day would really help you if you are already caught up. However for me one load a week is all I need to do maybe two depending on how much laundry I have in one week. ❤ I try to do my dishes once a day at least it will really help me stay on top of them and not have to stress over them especially since I have been eating at home all week. I should really try a 15-30 minute clean at least once a week that would really help me feel like I’m on top of my home and would make it look accomplished. ❤ I love cleaning with a cleaning motivation video or with some music it really helps me stay motivated to clean. I get baby fever ever time I see babies as well and I haven’t even started having kids yet but me and my husband are trying to improve our marriage and get in a better finance place before we have them.

Hi karrie I knows how it is at times with cleaning up the house watching your video and seeing how you keeps going to different rooms you needs to get a little help in your son's room with the toys that part of getting your schedule list done, your daughter's room is so neat such a good girl as they gets older there will be more a chance of getting some time for yourself to enjoy the rest of the day even once weekly you have to be focus and make sure you have time for a quiet moment I enjoyed your video each time there's one shared ❤❤❤

Hi, my mom had us pickup our rooms before bedtime, they are old enough. also we had to put our dirty clothes in hamper at same time. she had four kids all 11 months apart, so she had organization. You are doing so good!
