CROCODILE SIGHTING WITH RARE BIRDS | RANGANATHITTU BIRD SANCTUARY

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a beautiful bird sanctuary located in the southern state of Karnataka, India. The sanctuary is located in the Mandya district, approximately 3 kilometers away from the historic town of Srirangapatna and 16 kilometers away from Mysuru.
Spread over an area of about 0.67 square kilometers, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is home to a diverse range of birds, including both resident and migratory birds. It is situated on the banks of the Kaveri River and comprises of six islets that serve as nesting sites for a variety of bird species.
Some of the common bird species that can be spotted at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary include painted storks, open-billed storks, black-headed ibis, egrets, cormorants, and herons. During the migratory season, the sanctuary is visited by a large number of birds from different parts of the world, including Siberia and Australia.
Apart from birdwatching, visitors to the sanctuary can also take a boat ride along the river and admire the scenic beauty of the place. The sanctuary also has a watchtower, which provides a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Overall, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a must-visit destination for nature and bird lovers, offering a unique opportunity to witness the beauty and diversity of avian life in a natural setting.

Hi thanks a lot watching our video. Boating safari is Rs. 100 per person and entry is INR 75. We did mention it in our video☺ Also we visited in the month of April. Best time to visit is between November to June. ☺☺

It will be best if you go between Nov and June. Spoonbills will be tough to find in October.
