Basically guys you are getting quality mode with more then double framerate for me that is way more important framerates without loosing details and crispness
I can confirm this. Played TLoU 2 remastered in my Pro an hour ago. It looks and feels fantastic. Pro mode is fidelity and performance modes put together. It's really nice.
if you saw the differences whilst playing the game you'd disagree, there's a notable difference although the price point is a bit too high in my opinion
The video does not show the graphics in motion. Quality mode 30fps vs quality mode at 60fps is a significant difference. Also, the difference on a large OLED TV is clearly noticeable and does not come across on your phone.

Long story short, a coworker sold me his Pro for 525 this afternoon and I bought a disc drive for 55, a stand off Amazon for 20 so I'm right at 600 in. Selling my OG disc PS5 for 300 to a different coworker so basically I paid 300 to upgrade. And I probably spent way too much still, but was cheaper than buying a new Pro for 770 after tax, a disc drive for 90 and a stand for 30. I paid about 300 less by just being patient and finding deals. And it's going to be hooked up to a 77 inch Samsung OLED. My original PS5 looked amazing on it. Probably won't see much difference but I will enjoy the higher frame rates without having to sacrifice any image quality. I was thinking about buying this game, heard it's one of the better PS5 Pro optimized games
At this point Graphics aren’t a new selling point. I know everyone in the comments is crying… but I guarantee you crybabies will cry 4+ years from now when PS6 releases. We are fighting over scraps here.

In 4 years it'll still be the same, only difference is 8k might just be able to hold 60FPS. By then game developers will be up to date with 4k at 120FPS. It is a revolving door. Even says on the PS5-PRO about game comparison. The big guys keep making money and you line their pockets. It's no different than a PC, you have to keep upgrading it. So who is losing $ in the end.

A clear difference, zoom a little in a bit on video guys, also PSSR is a big deal, just like DLSS is on a PC. I am happy that consoles are getting such advanced upscaling tech.

There's a difference in resolution between performance and performance pro. It's somewhat softer on the base PS5. On performance pro you can unlock the framerate to get 70-90fps while looking like fidelity mode on the base PS5.
Its uncapped from 40fps with frame tripling since 120hz divided by 40hz is three. You get the same frame three times in a row starting with 40hz which will give you 120hz on your screen. I know it confusing.
The pro patch has ruined the fidelity and performance modes. The game looks way too over sharpened and there's a very noticeable black outline around most objects, just look at how fuzzy Joel's beard looks whereas it was fine before. This issue thankfully doesn't apply to Part 2 but this seriously needs to be fixed.
I’ve been playing with fidelity mode and unlocked frame rate and it feels like it’s almost locked at 60 on the pro. It’s native 4K so it looks even better than the pro mode, and it runs a lot better than the base ps5 when I tried to unlock the frame rate in fidelity
Upgrading to the PS5 slim will be a huge improvement but if you prefer to play most games at 60 fps at 4K (some will still be dynamic 4K) it might be worth spending the extra cash on the PRO.

All this proves to me is that without these side by side Comparison video's, I'll never notice the difference sat on my couch even on my 65inch oled
I see more difference in reflection but other than that, it’s not a night and day difference.
The difference is 30 --> 60+ FPS but the video is not (conveniently) going into that. It's a rage bait video.

Once you see the last of us 2 remastered hitting 120fps in fidelity uncapped framerate you might think differently.
OG sucks trust me I've been replaying spiderman remastered and miles morales is a totally different experience

It is not easy to see the difference from a cell phone. RUclips compression makes it worse. From my tablet in 2160p, I can easily spot the difference.

Tlou2 remastered plays fidelity uncapped framerate up to 120 fps its much better than the base ps5 .
It's a sharpening bug, his face looked fine and less fuzzy before the patch
