Tilt the glass when you pour so your not getting loads of froth in it lol.
spoken like a true brit
Amateur hour 🤭
Well yeah but you release the tilt as your pouring because otherwise you get hardly any head at all, there's a fine line, don't want too much head but alos don't want none at all
Tilt your glasses guys. The head on those glasses is wrong
LOL surely you know how to pour beer?
You pour down the side of a tilted glass so you don't just get all head and flat beer.
"My favourite beer is Coors lite"
"Guinness is from Doooblin"
FML
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video guys! Keep up the great work 👌🏻☺️
Hilarious video on so many levels, thanks for the entertainment. 🍺🍺🍺Just had to subscribe and try and push you towards 1K
Thanks for watching and subscribing! 👍👍❤️ we’re so glad you liked the video!
Your welcome we are all trying to grow our channels 🙂
Great video. Nice that Walmart sells Beer now. Innis & Gunn is one of my favorites. Do enjoy a guiness here & there. Great review 😀
Lol come to the UK, you can get beer everywhere.... even 2am in a petrol station ... any corner shop... lots of places... as common on a shop shelf as bread
A trip to the UK is on our bucket list! Beer is starting to become more available here, but only in certain grocery stores. With the current social distancing protocols here, they've actually let restaurants deliver beer and wine with your food orders, which has been a nice surprise. Thanks for watching, have an amazing day!
Happy Easter to you & your family hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I'm a Brit who lived in Canada for 5 years back in the 00's, and I was amazed that I couldn't just buy beer or spirits at the supermarket. I also couldn't believe that you didn't include the tax as part of the price on the label!
We finally have beer and wine in Supermarkets in Ontario, but spirits are still only at the LCBO. Thanks so much for watching Bobby!
You're killing me lovely people. Tilt tilt tilt!
😳😳 Lol!
Watching you pour was like nails down a chalkboard. 😱 Selling English/British ale to Americans and Canadians is a tough sale. I'm not being bias here, but British ale is so much better than US/CAN stuff which in comparison is dog p155.
Guinness out of a tin taste so much diffrent then out the tap
So true! And if you’re drinking out of the tap it hopefully means you’re somewhere more fun then being at home too, like a good pub or bar! Haha. Thanks so much for watching!
beer and lager are different things
john bath they’re not though...Lager is beer.
I think you mean ales and lagers are different
Brown ale is awful from a can, you need to get it from the bottle and drink it with a half glass.
Thanks for the tip! We'll have to see if we can find any bottles here!
Newcastle Brown Ale was conceived as a bottled beer it should only be drank that way.
This is gonna be good I will continue to watch
We hope you enjoy the video!
Innis and Gunn is my favorite brewery, they have a wide variety of beers and stouts. My favorite drink of theirs is the whiskey finish, Scottish stout stored in a Irish whiskey barrel it's a strong taste but it's lovely if you enjoy strong flavours on your pallet.
Thanks for the tip! We’ll have to keep our eyes out for them at our local LCBO. Thanks for watching!
If you served Guinnes like that in an Irish pub ,you might be shown the exit door
Try a cold half pint of courage bitter mixed with a bottle of Mann's brown ale. (Brown and Bitter an old traditional drink)
So not only do they not know how to pour a pint they’re getting it from a can not a bottle. FML
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately we can only get these brands in cans, so we're limited in what we can taste. Have a great day!
Lager is a soft drink, Real Ale is for men! lol
Thanks for watching Craig!
Grrrr tilt the glass when pouring swithmicks irish ale 🍺 🤣🤣
Lol you man need to tilt the glass while pouring
In these tasting videos I always wonder if they are serving the beer at the proper temperature. Having the beer at the right temperature is very important for proper tasting.
Do bars in America not tilt glasses when they pour a beer?, please tell me Americans know to tilt their glass when pouring a beer otherwise it's just all froth, it would take ages to settle properly.
We definitely know about the glass tilt! Thanks for checking out our video!
They're Canadian
It's pronounced 'Smithicks'. 😉
Thanks for the tip! Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching!
MHMMM Beer. great review on these beers. Are these locally available near you which is how you got them? some foreign beers is hard for us to get in the states and if we do they are made different and aren't the same.
We got them at our local Walmart!
You dont have beer with fish and chips, you have tea
Would never have thought to drink tea with fish and chips...gonna have to try that! Thanks so much for watching!!
@@TheTrips no worries it's usually english tea like typhoo or yorkshire tea were you put the teabag in the the hot water then put the milk in stir for 20 seconds take the teabag out, for me personally that's how I enjoy a good brew
I have only seen Spitfire in bottles not a can obviously for export.
Thanks for watching Chris!
John smiths , good for cleaning the drains . most of those ales are far better from the tap , although Spitfire do a nice bottled verion
there are hundreds of beers from the uk that you don't get in canada
Poured it like icecream
Try some frosty Jack's 🤣
Never heard of Spitfire, try some St Austell beer!
Thanks for the tips Mark! Have a good one, and thanks so much for watching!
Yeah come to Cornwall. Beautiful part of the UK. You guys will always be welcome. Gotta love the Canadians!
Got some israeli defence force guys pissed on rattler a few years ago (its mostly apples..honest)....apparently its the only thing they can remember of their trip to cornwall 😈
Brown ale is the 💣 in my part of the UK. Legendary.
Most American beer is abit like canoeing, it's very close to water
😂😂😂
Great video, but as a Brit I find those beers all so pedestrian. I'm sure it's a little harder for you to procure but check out some of our more interesting breweries doing crazy things. Welsh Brewery Tiny Rebel make awesome beers especially Jam Doughnut which actually tastes of hot jam. Brewdog are a Scottish Brewery that produce some phenomenally sour and hazy beers.
Thanks for the suggestions! We're limited to in Ontario to what our Liquor Control Board stores have in stock, but we'll definitely keep an eye out for these beers. Thanks for watching!
I drink Coors light, says it all really
Some of us aren’t the most sophisticated beer drinkers. Thanks for watching!
coloured water
If you want a perfect Guinness out of a can.... make sure it's ice cold and of course make sure can is Guinness draught with the wee ball,
Then pop the can tip it upside down to the bottom of your British style pint glass the let go. You should have as close as can be to a Dublin pint of stout 👍
This was so fun to watch! I really like Guinness but don't care at all for Newcastle.
Thanks for watching! We had a blast taste testing the beers!
How can you not know the basics of pouring a glass of beer
Wrong b roll 😂 for the smithwicks
hi came here from pusa 🤗 thank you! stay connected
Guinness and Smithwicks is Irish brews folks lol lol
Lol! 🤣🤣
l used to drink one pint of Guinness when l was l pregnant (l was told it was good for pregnant women not sure if it was though). But that was years ago things have changed since then.
This was due to the iron content.
Tilt !!!
It’s not the ac content it’s the taste .
Manns brown is only around 3% but is bursting with strong chocolate flavour.
Chocolate and beer, a match made in heaven! Thanks for watching!
its gotta be draft. Can beer never the same. If you want really decent local beers come on over to the UK guys!
A trip to the UK is high on our list...hopefully one day! Thanks so much for watching, and have a great night!
Suit yourself if you buy Guiness on a can. The bottled is better You didn´t geot hold of Old Speckeld Hen. Well worth a taste test
guinness is amazing....it's is own food group..
It's like eating a loaf of delicious bread!
You should never include women in a beer-sampling prog. We just don't have the same tastebuds as men(!)
beers look amazing and the lady is cute!
Cheers Jesse, thanks for watching! 🍻
@@TheTrips cheers! You’re welcome for watching! 🍻
Recommend some Canadian beers and il critique them
Thanks for watching Christopher! Some Canadian beers you could check out are Molson Canadian, Labatt Blue, Steamwhistle, Moosehead, Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale, Mill Street Brewery. Those are some of the biggest Canadian brands, not all of them are great beers, but all Canadian made haha. Would love to hear what you think of them!
think the one in the middle should stick to H2O
Ale tastes better when drank from a drinking horn also mead is really nice aswell
We definitely need to get a drinking horn!
@@TheTrips SKÅL
You call Coors Lite a beer? 😏🤭🤣🤣🤣Bland, taseless dishwater.
Q: What does a pint of Coors Lite have in common with a canoe?
A: They're both close to water.
Never seen spitfire in n. Ireland
tilt the beer honestly hurt me watching this
I don't want to burst your Canadian bubble us brits invented hockey and we don't even play as a national game because we still think it's s***
god almighty you need lessons how to pour beer
Thanks so much for watching. We like to break out the CO2 in the glass and not our stomachs to try and not get bloated from the beer. I know it looks horrible but it’s a great trick to pour beer and avoid all the bloating from the carbonation. Have a great day!
@@TheTrips you’re full of the proverbial!
@@ccb3313 I assure you we're not! lol Feel free to see the madness to our methods in the video ruclips.net/video/StMMa8uR2-0/видео.html
Next time get them in glass bottles tastes alot better
Or on the tap
You need to drink newky brown and Guinness ice cold, nothing worse than warm beer
Thanks for the tip, Craig! Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
Guinness is clearly a man's drink 🤣
Guinness is better served in an Irish pub and poured n rested properly
They have NO idea how to pour ale. You need to try 'draught ale' in a can and you get a head but not a 4 inch one. That's because it has a 'widget' in it like the Guiness, it's a small canister of compressed CO2 so it's just like beer from the pump. You need to find one of the best tasting ales I've ever had, it's from Llanelli (Clan-eth-lee) in South Wales, 'Two Dragons bitter'. You will not want anything else after tasting it.
We’ll have to see if we can find any Two Dragons bitters here in Canada! Thanks for the tip 👍👍
@@TheTrips My mistake, it's actually called 'Double Dragon' NOT Two Dragons.
www.felinfoel.com/our-beer/
Hobgoblin is the biggest selling beer in UK.
You need to try proper beer Black sheep proper Yorkshire beer
Thanks for the tip Roland, we'll have to see if we can find that beer here! Have a great day, and thanks so much for watching!
No one drinks Newcastle Brown in the UK. It;s straight out of the Tyne 💩
Good to know Paul! Sadly, we don't have a huge selection of UK beers where we live in Canada. Thanks for watching!
Guinness and Smithwicks are not from the UK
Not a scotch fan !! Try a good Irish
Scotch is a bit rough but irish is every bit as potent but much smoother 🤪
4.2 is a regular beer 5 + is premium . Pilsner is a larger . Ipa indain pale ale . Canadians , more american than british.
Can’t watch these pouring pints
Yep you're definitely not beer aficionados if you think coors is a nice drink
Teach these fools to pour beer, for pete's sake.
Sort the way you pour.
Apart from yhe Guiness, you bought a poor choice to try, should have Bodingtons, an 80 Shilling, Belhaven Best...
Jesus Christ, I used to like Canadians too 😔😔😔
Hey guys good video. But Ireland is not British or UK so can you not say that its like saying canada is US
Thanks so much for watching Johnny, and thanks for letting us know!
@@TheTrips no problem, look forward to watching more. 😃 just a point that Guinness was bad. No head means dont drink. Plus with Guinness and Smithwicks you pour it 45 degrees into the glass. Never ever ever straight into glass 😅😅🤣
Lager beer pale ale all different.and that’s the worst pouring I’ve ever seen
Why didnt they just pour these beers into plastic cups to make it even more crap a great advert for beer
Guinness 'one Irish beer', is not 'from the UK'... doh.
British people don't even drink British beer 😐 Fullers and St Austell are the only breweries worth mentioning
we'll have to see if we can find those brewers here in Canada!
Cobblers! There's loads of good small breweries in the UK. The variety of excellent beer is amazing here. Beer has just been voted Brits favourite tipple. Just check out the CAMRA website.
What a load of Bollocks, we drink more craft and traditional British ales than foreign
'Guinness from Dooblin, Ireland. Jesus geography and pronunciation not your forte. She hated everything. Innis and Gunn is a major seller in the UK and yet you dissed it. Everyone of those beers is better than the watered down tasteless rubbish North America has. Show some more respect
Oh and Guinness in a can is sacralige. A hideous crime against humanity
There are dozens of types of beer: ale, stout, larger, bitter... That's not including the micro-breweries and artisan beers.
Doesn't anyone know how to pour a beer to give a reasonable head? Anybody would think they're southerners pouring there flat water (commonly referred to as n@ts-piss up north)...
_The typical bourbon barrel is 53 US gallons (200 l; 44 imp gal) in size, which is thus the de facto standard whiskey barrel size worldwide_
You get syrup, wine and many other things stored in bourbon barrels, it's more a measure of volume.
Guinness nectar of the gods... There is no aniseed or liquorice in it... Always let it stand to clear before drinking it. Guinness is so good for you doctors use to prescribe it...
Thanks for sharing all of this info Dave, and thanks for watching!
(Tilt the glass!)
Americans drinking beer out of cans. Who drinks canned beer it's pressurised. American beer is disgusting watery stuff. Anyone who drinks Coors or American Budweiser doesn't know what beer tastes like. English rock stars on tour in US stipulated no American beers in dressing room. They do make some decent craft beers though.
Thanks for watching John! Unfortunately we're pretty limited on what foreign beers we can get here, and pretty much all of them are in cans. Have a great day!
British beer yet two of them aren’t even British 😂
Pooring the beer wrong
Thanks for watching!
Good god...... Ireland is not in the UK! It's like saying Canada is part of the USA.
Northern Ireland is
@@joshwibblywob7523 but they are talking about Guinness from Dublin

The pouring is awful!!!!!!
red ales = welsh origin

Women. Don't. Like. Beer.
Annoying music
You don't know how to pour a beer
That woman is really annoying
