Which job do you think you're going to try? Did I miss any out? Comment below
Thank you very much, Cee. This gives me a clearer picture of what kinds of jobs I am able to apply for
You’re so welcome, thank you for watching
So helpful as I’m thinking so rigidly about what pathways are available from studying counselling but this has made me more open minded about what other careers might be just as fulfilling other than becoming a therapist!
I’m so happy to hear that, I hope you find the right path for you!
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching

Is it realistic to want to have a research assistant as a full time job? Are there noticable advancements in the career if I am educated with masters?
Hi Tomáš, it is realistic. From what I've seen, the job roles tend to be contracted (anything from 3 months to 3 years), so it's likely that you may have to find a new job often but there are some full time permanent roles especially within universities. In terms of experience, some of them expect you to have PhDs and some don't, as long as your degree had a lot research elements, they'll accept you. If you don't have sufficient research experience, you could do a research diploma. I would recommend looking at some research assistant job descriptions and see what they're looking for. Good luck, I wish you the best!
❤
Thank you! ❤️
Want to study psychology what do i do as a beginner. Do i have to study as a counselor first
You can just do an undergraduate psychology degree, you don’t need to do counselling, that’s a speciality you can do after psychology
What do you mean by level 4 or level 5 counselor ?
You can become a qualified counsellor at level 4 and at level 5
815!
Now it’s 816😂
Do you need a license to be a psychologist?
No, you need to have a certain level of qualification. In the UK that will be at least a master’s degree or PhD
