I love this 😭 part 2 for those that cannot afford to do a masters or PhD, highlight other careers they can do with a psychology degree, I think would be beneficial.
I personally pursued educational psychology but it’s so competitive and they usually take people who have been working in the education, like teachers, hence why I want to teach for a few years then apply again.

Thank you! I will definitely do a video on that soon because I totally agree, a masters and PhD is not an option for everyone!
And I'm so proud of you for your perseverance to become an educational psychologist! The pay is gonna be sweeet!

To be honest, it depends where you are. I realised in the UK without a PHD or PSY D there isn't much you can do as an international. In my country as well, if there are no job openings you are basically left with doing a desk job that is more admin secretarial related work. My partner studied economics and with a Bachelors he has more opportunities than I have with a Masters in neuropsychology. I love neuropsychology it was great and its great to learn. But truth is its a struggle to actually practise any of the things you learnt without a PHD or PSY D.

I definitely agree with you, it's hard to do much with just a psychology degree compared to other degrees and industries. Psychology requires a lot academic commitment to get somewhere career wise unfortunately

Hi, if you major in psychology, you will probably have to choose something to specialise in afterwards, so you will have to do a master's degree. Be prepared to study and for a few years, you can do it, good luck!
