Yeah, it do be like that sometimes. I used to play as moth a lot and got slapped with fly swatter (which does additional damage to moths and flies) at a weekly basis. Nothing that bad tho, some other species characters are even respected (Like Gor-Rok the lizard assistant and Flivo Convecta the moth engineer)
Sucks that it has to be regulars only being the respected ones, and not even that respected and still often targetted for griefing and a variety of pranks.
@@farents I think you don’t need to fight well you need to be so said different but not in the way of going “i am quirky” there was a blue lizard called Lei who wore pyjamas and all he did was sleep in random locations he first wasn’t too known but after a while people knew him more and liked him all cause he just slept in random locations! There are some who are known cause sheer playtime like Lucia valdez who spent over 1000 hours playing security… Or Talon mcendrickfire who was known for being a bully not sure if he still bullies don’t think he does anymore, something changed him i think? It helps to be reliable for allot of people but there are many ways you can help a person it doesn’t have to be combat

Yeah, actually my first shift on ss13 was really calm and funny. The people helped me alot, somehow everyone knew i was new. The bartender calmly explained to me how to make human burger out of that guy who exploded my kitchen as chef.
My first just so happened to be a War Ops round if I remember right, trying to learn controls while having the looming threat of being shot in the face or decapitated by an angry man in a blood-red suit running at mach 3 high on stimulants was certainly interesting. Only to next round play a chill round where I got to explore a station as an assistant to some paramedic who explained to me how things work, before another assistant ran in and bombed both of us becuase I just so happened to be playing as a lizard, later telling me in dead chat to "go _commit unalive_ you degenerate" and never seeing them again.
9:25 im pretty sure here there were revolutionaries but they lost their revolutionary flesh, which turns you into an antag when you get flashed, but on rev mode the emergency shuttle is disabled, so maybe not
tg is a LOt more chaotic so is ss13 in general while 14 is acepting has game modes and shit ss13 in tg specificly has like.. 40 diferent antags and your likley to have between 3 and 12 of them depending on the round witch could all be different.... but the sheer quantity of things you can do and all the systems are MUUCH more fleshed out than 14
Would honestly not recommend playing on TG (and especially the EU server Terry) if you aren't fine with chaos incarnate and crappy players (as in: out to make rounds worse for others for whatever reasons, wether tiny and insignificant or not, if any at all), with most crappy things directed at non-human characters players, mostly furry hate, wether you are really a furry or not, doesn't matter to 'em. The playerbase is really not that great and is often left to do whatever shitty things they wanna do as long as it's not directly hurting the server. (Or at the very least with how things are treated there it seems to be this way.)

Well it seems like for me SS13 has much more content and complex gameplay than in SS14. Like for example when you work in the kitchen, you can't just put stuff in microwaves and cook instantly like in SS14. Instead in SS13 you use the grill, oven, fryer etc. for cooking. After all, SS14 is still in development with devs adding new content every now and then.

Nice some 13 content! I've been following your channel for a while and never wanted to ask for 13 content specifically as most 14 players don't really like 13, but you brought us some good content! You should explore other code bases like Yog or Bee, they have fun gimmicks, especially Yogstation which has a LOT more antags than other codebases. Anyways, good video and keep up the good work!
