How do you get back with the idrive "back" button? I get back in the main menu from the unit. Instead of 1 screen back in carplay...which is kind of annoying

You need to select Aux for audio to work.

I installed it in my F30 2013 328i and cannot get the sound to work. I transferred the green fiber optic cable as per instructions received. I cannot get the sound to play. CarPlay loads but no audio. Any pointers? do i need to connect the aux cable? do i need to update software? i cannot get audio via connected usb CarPlay or wireless in the CarPlay mode. Audio only works in the car bluetooth mode. Thanks for your assistance
