2:58 - Ok, time to debunk the misconception again: the Pastel de Belém is not the original Pastel de Nata. How can it be if the recipe, as you said, is a secret and the name is trademarked? The Pastel de Nata was created because the other bakeries couldn't replicate the Pastel de Belém, so in reality the Pastel de Nata is just an attempt to copy the Pastel de Belém but the only similarity between the two is how they look.
Ginja- pronounced “Jeeenja” is made from “sour” cherries. They are more tart than traditional cherries. The castle of Obidos near Lisbon is a great place to visit and known for Ginja.
I see you posted this video today and it looks like a great trip! Was your day in Lisbon recent, or did you film this a little while ago and just finished editing it? Thank you for all of the information!
Hi Sammy and Tommy. What is eSIM cards do you use to access mobile data again? Remember seeing it on one of your videos but I can't remember the name of the company that you use?
Pasteis de Belem is the I believe is the best Portuguese tart., it's just has the perfect consistency and not to runny/creamy as Pasteis de Nata. And they give it to you FRESH/Hot.
you should try " pasteis de tentugal" around Coimbra. Very, very good!!!!! In Portugal, we have lots of pastries and sweets created by monks. Most of them are simply delicious!!!
I lived in Portugal for eight years on the Azores islands, and had never made it to mainland Portugal as a teen. Finally went with my wife in 2019 and absolutely loved it. We got to try a few of the spots that you visited great video and very informative. All the best. We’re in Canada, but both my wife and I have Portuguese roots.
I did 5 and it was perfect. Allowed for 3 days around Lisbon, 1 for Cascais, and 1 for Sintra (then a few more days in Lagos after). Was a perfect 8 days in Portugal before heading to Spain :)
I was in lisbon 2 weeks ago for a full week and I loved everything but in my opinion the people aren't so friendly. I also did not feel safe and I would recommend it for women not to go alone especially not at night. I almost was robbed.

15:20 So talented !! I love the vibe of these musicians. Great montage, as always !!
Going tomorrow, can't wait!
Nice relaxing vibes. Love the look of the white and orange buildings. When done symmetrically it makes for a beautiful skyline. Very photogenic
Thanks for your video. We only have 24 hours there before heading to hike the Fisherman’s Trail.
I’ve have had MONTHS long studying how the science of Lisbon and Sintra occurs, as well as Porto to in the North!! 😁😁 I am impressed no doubt!! 😁😁

Basically, you can walk around Portugal with a slight coffee, booze buzz. I’m not saying that’s what I did all day, every day, but I could have! 😜

We don’t do lineups if it’s more than 15min. Life’s too short. Lots of stuff to see that isn’t jammed.
Fun fact,thats not the oceano...
