Viewership for finals peaked at 6.8+ million, and this does not include the 15000 live audience viewership numbers from China. I think it's an understatement to say hundreds of thousands, considering we all know other than China, the vast majority of people watching were rooting for T1 since they're the team people converge to supporting if their region isn't playing. I'd go so far as to say millions were screaming "Faker" at the same time given these plays. I normally watch calmly, like even Faker catching Ruler last year didn't make me jump, and even I was jumping in excitement and smacking my hands watching the last two games from this finals.

If you watch, the reason he and the other Chinese players are so devastated isn't just because their country's team lost, but because its essentially killed their livelihood. Since they couldn't bring it home, they're anticipating the pay rates for Chinese league players to drop, advertisers to pull out, etc. He's basically in mourning for returning to league professionally as it won't be worth it at what the pay scales will likely be.

I've watched this so many times only to now realise that Zeus put a pink ward down and BLG attacked it twice -- maybe those Jax autos would have made a difference! Zeus knew (or at least hoped) that BLG doesn't have target champion only on and would find it hard to attack them.
Bin attacked the ward twice only when Faker and Zeus were both in zhonyas stacking his ult/passive up so it was actually beneficial for BLG that the ward was placed

It was the collective effort. Keria played out of his mind though. His Renata and Rakan were actually MVPs of their respective games I think. Then again the Faker macro impact is so hard to quantify you're fine giving it to him too.

Not entirely, they can wipe out the rest of the team, and Knight might get a pick before going down, it's just that Keria's ult cemented the games end, if Knight was able to tp, he'd still die, and the game will extend longer for another fight near objectives, but yeah Keria's ult led them on winning 5th world trophy
It's a 5 v 5 game for some reason. This pro games aren't soloQ. U can't carry games by yourself. Every champ as his abilities. People will only be good at this game when u realise it's not about the KDA but about the teams comp. They usually use META Champs. That's why. In this last game ZeusGragas and KeriaPoppy have 0 kills. Keria has 3 assists with 12 kills in the team... and can do a play when can gives them a real chance to win.
Btw, I hate to see Uzi face when the fight is over.
And this is propably one of the best world's finals ever if not the best, even with the DRX vs T1 comeback.
