  • We have come to it at last, the finale of Season 2, what an absolute adventure this has been, both in experiencing the season, making these discussion videos each week, and getting to meet so many more Tolkien fans along the way. I extend my utmost gratitude to everyone who has accompanied me on this journey so far. And even though the season has ended, the age of breakdowns and speculations have just begun.
During this episode we we're treated to every single plotline from this season, and though it felt a tad rushed, I feel like we got a satisfying conclusion to each one, which is very impressive. First off we delve into Khazad-Dum where Prince Durin makes one final effort to save his father from the evil of the ring, then we jump to Numenor where things aren't looking great for the faithful, in Rhun the Stranger meets a powerful enemy and learns about his destiny and even his name... finally. In Pelargir Isildur catches a boat home, and in Eregion the toxic situationship between Celebrimbor and Sauron comes to a climactic and depressing conclusion, all while the siege rages on outside.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported the channel so far! Be sure to leave a comment down below of what you think of the season so far! And if you enjoyed the video, don't forget to subscribe!

I love that you picked up on the meaning of the line about pity from the Dark Wizard. A certain large Tolkien channel (which I greatly admire) missed that.

You have such a nice and soothing voice (in the least weird way possible 😂), just nice to listen to! Also not weird, but do you sing/have a good singing voice because now I’m curious. But great discussion, so glad I found your channel and Twitter! 😊

A theory I had floating around in my head was that Ciran Hinds is one of the blue wizards and he killed the other one at some point and that's why Gandalf is there to deal with it
