So light, fresh and nicely edited. I feel the same. I don't need to consume anymore. I love to customize and photograph them
I love that you dress some of the dolls in just clothes you want to put on them and be creative instead of all of them in original outfits. I honestly don't think you can really enjoy dolls if all you do is buy buy buy and go 1000 miles per hour hoarding dolls. I don't like most of the new dolls. I only want a small collection that has the dolls in dioramas doing things like having a tea part or the fairies in trees in a garden etc. Congrats on achieving your goals and for some reason I was happy to find out what you did with the cup lol Its like you have a magical elixir that you drink and all the Barbies and dolls come to life.
Yes, some collectors need to stop buying, take a deep breath and look around to really appreciate the dolls they have. 😅 i was so happy the lamp turned out so cute. 😊

I’m at that point in my doll collecting where I need to just enjoy what I have and focus on creating and setting up my doll room and crafting and finishing projects that I’ve started years ago I have doll crafts that I’ve started in 2016-2017 that still need to be finished lol and I told myself I couldn’t buy any more thrifted dolls until I fixed the ones I already have so I haven’t thrifted any since summer and am almost finished cleaning them up! Thanks for more inspiration and sharing your beautiful collection and doll room 💕💕

I love your collection, each doll is dressed beautifully with a lot of taste and care. I am slowing down on my collection too because I want to enjoy what I have and I also want put my money somewhere else. I am not stopping, just slowing down. I will favour thrifting and being more selective in my buying

The comments about consumption in the doll community is so true, we all have more than enough dolls and so many projects still to complete. So I feel like I too would want to stop buying and focus on what I have that truly makes me happy.

Your collection is beautiful! I love all the different brands and your restyles and own designs for the dolls. The lighting situation is also great, my shelves are really dark. The way you reused stuff to create that light-up Pop Reveal cup is very clever.
Also just saw your flea market haul on instagram. My heart jumped when you showed the Enchantix doll! And for €1! Find of the century.

I would have left her there 😄 had a friend not seen her pop up on my Story where I showed the vintage Skipper doll. He then asked kindly if I could send her to him. I'm not well versed with winx club dolls 🙈

I would like more information on the lights you installed. They looked great.
I got them off of Amazon, the brand is Govee warm white dimmable LED Stripes, 5metres long with 300 light sources. I had to get five of them and I've added a ton of 2-pin strip corner connectors and had to cut the strips in order to fit the shelves. It was a process, each has their own power plug that i added onto multi sockets and then i added the remote controlled power on/off switch on top of that. 😄 it was a ton of reading up, investigating and watching Tutorials beforehand. Yes, I tried to filter some dolls out by using categories like color etc. but in the end it was more of a intuitive "you can stay, you have to go" type of selection. 😄 Thank you for watching 💖💖💖

I played with Bratz dolls and my scene along Barbie but I’m only interested in collecting Barbie and Madame Alexander. Something about those large heads and eyes put me off.

Another great video. Love that you don't conform to the relentless promotion of new dolls we are all supposed to buy. The Barbie movie dolls have left a bad taste in my mouth. New dolls are not exciting me right now. They're so expensive and there is way too much competition to get them. This is supposed to be fun. Its our hobby! Thanks for reminding us to take a deep breath and enjoy what we already have.

Keeping the curtains closed for a prolonged period of time can keep the Display dustfree but I do have to dust them off from time to time 😮💨
