We will be walking in the Coney Island area during a very nice day in late May, just a few days before Memorial Day Weekend. The walk will start on Brighton Beach Avenue while we head to Brighton 14th Street. From there , we get onto the Boardwalk, and take the next leg of the walk all the way down to the Amusement Park area and the eateries. We will then walk around Maimonides Ball Park where the Brooklyn Cyclones are playing today. We will be there as school trips are arriving for the game. After that, we will walk along Surf Avenue and end it in front of Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs.
Commentary for the walk. Come and tag along on a nice early summer day with temps in the mid 70's. As always, Thanks for taking the walk with me!

Beautiful day. I went to the aquarium when I was a kid .... 1971 ish
👍🏻👍🏻🐟🦈🐠
As I am watching this video this morning, monsoon rains are happening outside my window. Yesterday was a great day for this walk, and it brought me back to my Coney Island days. I can't believe you can't go under the board walk anymore. It was the place to cool off (besides going in the water) on a really hot, humid day. Much has changed, but a lot is just the way I remember it. Thank you.
Speaking of monsoons - I did a thunderstorm walk this morning. Probably upload it tomorrow or Saturday morning. ☔☔⛈⛈
I was here a few decades ago...before you were born...haha!!...much nicer now. and yes, the beach was much lower. Those of us from the mid-west don't typically think of beaches and water when we think of NYC. The media just focuses on downtown NYC proper. That's why your fine walks is so enlightening and refreshing. Thank you for your insight and narrative!!
👍🏻👍🏻💯
Lovely walk 👌 thank you ⚘️
