Great collaboration Rich. I really appreciate your videos and the variety of aircraft you show us, it is always a treat to see what you fly next! Thanks for investing this time to share with us!
The M2 seems to be a very nice and capable plane with the G3000 package. Nice to see Matt flying a plane without an alternator problem😎 And as always, a nice high quality video with a lot of interesting information from Rich. Thanks for let me tag along👍
Rich, by no means is this video too long. It puts us onboard in a relaxed manner where we all can easily follow along, pretty seductive actually. Good job, thanks.
Thought I had watched all your videos Rich but somehow I missed this one. Fun to watch you interact with a high time piston pilot with so little jet time, your calm demeanor really comes through. I thought he landed long (compared to your landings), must be next to impossible to resist that urge to flare! Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these videos. 👍🏽👍🏽
JET TIME NEW 'G1D driver!' G, day from Sydney, Australia. * one-handed rotate (wow). He's a natural; hands down. Super nice to climb just above cloud tops, in the (citation): Matt had the synthetic vision and ATC transmission perfect. The flying in the cockpit was relaxing and fun, as the jet stepped down out of the cover of cloud. A visualisation of the runway, no papi lights could stop a perfect glide slope and touchdown over the numbers. All that was left tower instruction to taxi. I looked for my sunglasses. * congrats Matt on flying the jet. 🌏🇭🇲
Instead of looking outside most of the time like I was taught in little prop planes, it seems like the guys flying jets have their eyes on the screens inside most of the time. Makes sense with such a complicated piece of machinery. Thanks for another great video. Glad I found your channel.
I really like your channel. You show the audience a lot more content on the actual piloting of whatever aircraft you are flying, nice work. Keep on keeping on top of the clouds ☺️👍👍 BIGGUN
What a great little flight. That Citation is a definitely a good looking aircraft. I'm glad this video came up in my recommend. Thanks for sharing this with us all and I'll be watching for Matt's upload as well.
Matt, what glasses do You wear? Personally, I need prescription glasses, sunglasses - all in one. Recommend me a brand (of course, to the cockpit). Thanx.
The guy in the back: please never disturb in the cockpit, when radio work with the controller is going on. Be patient and wait! The cockpit looks like a tv studio with all these cameras. 😅 Besides that nice flight with scenery over Santa Catalina. ☀️👍
Everyone on-board is a pilot. We are all aware of interruptions being necessary here and there and lay ground rules before we fly. It's impossible to always know when somebody is talking to ATC or not since there is no intercom the back and it's too loud to hear with the engines on. That's why each communication goes through me in the right seat while Matt who is pilot flying and communicating with ATC can concentrate on his job. Thank you for watching!
I think the difference between being a Billionaires pilot and a Millionaires pilot, is how fast and smooth the ride is. I should probably stick to the terrafirma. 🤘😎
Rich, In your opinion what's the best personal jet for a single pilot? Don't take in consideration the mission, just cost, hourly operation etc, forgiveness of the plane. Thanks
Mustang in my opinion is the most airplane for the money. You can get a really nice airplane for $1.5M, plus very inexpensive to maintain, FL410, 340 KTS, G1000, modern FADEC engines. They are all great airplanes to me but Mustang most for the money.
New to the channel. I think what you're doing is awesome. However IMO the music was painfully loud. I muted audio until 2:33 or so. It looks like you're living the dream. If you're doing what you love then you don't work a day in a day in your life.
Why the perpetual low drawl (Matt) when speaking to ATC? Is it to make you seem cool? Is it to prove something? All it proves is that it sounds ridiculous. For goodness sake speak in a normal way. It must drive the controllers crazy.
I met Matt and flew with him. He’s a very good guy and was a real professional from my perspective. I’m not in to speculating on this type of thing - I just base my opinion of people on my own experience, which was very positive with Matt.
Two of my favourite RUclipsrs together - great to see you both Matt and Rich
Thank you for the kind words!

You are my hero RICH ! Since I’m watching your channel you have flown every single aircraft I always dream of !
Thank you! Happy to hear that!
27:38 yet another PERFECT Matt Guthmiller landing! This guy is unbeatable!
Nice flying and aircraft. The Bonanza won't seem so nice after that flight in the jet. Thanks

Your level of calmness and comfort in the right seat is just epic! If you ever go back to taking students, I’ll make it to Long Beach. 👌👊
Thank you! I am actually in the process of reducing my instruction time. I have to focus on other work.
@@FlyingwithRich absolutely. I’ll just keep saving so I can buy one of your aircraft. Get my transition training from you!
@@theresasrangerdaddy Sounds like a plan ;)
Modern avionics are amazing! Thanks for the ride Rich. Love your channel
Fun video, very nice owner of the M2 to let Matt fly it, enjoyed coming along...great job Matt!
Fun day. Thanks for watching!

Great to meet you too. Look forward to flying again soon!

Just discovered your channel and watching back to back episodes. Would love to own my own plane one day! Keep up the videos 😀

I found your channel while flying with Matt and friends. I enjoy the young pilots escapades into unfamiliar territory. I want a jet! 👍

Especially flying IFR you tend to look inside quite a bit but we're still supposed to have our eyes outside as well.
Way to go Matt. Thank you both -
Thank you!
Have to call out the editing. Really slick and I especially liked the way you pulled up your console in shot while keeping the overall larger view.
Thank you! We appreciate the positive feedback!!
Really can’t wait to start my flight training
Great video Rich!! You are an amazing person. A lot of people won't interact with their subscribers. I love your videos

Thanks for this video Rick.. Matt did a great job.
He did. Thanks for watching.
You remind me of the golfer John Cook who I believe flies/owns a Citation. Your very calm demeanor brings enjoyment to the cockpit.
I take that as a compliment. Thank you for watching!

Definitely not enough GoPros! You are welcome for a SF50 tour Matt, the Cirrus is much easier than the M2 to fly...
What does he mean by the attitude indicator being reversed vs. the G500? Hoping to buy an M2 in the future!
Shit dude, you made that look easy!! Well done!
Would this be considered a Near Jet? Nice flight
Awesome video!
Matt, Thoughts on Dan Gryder's video?
I’m heading to OCRaviation after this video.

Maybe next time you could bring some more cameras :)

@flying with rich probable cause - dan gryder has distanced himself from matt guthmiller

Why the ridiculous affected voice when communicating to ATC?
Don‘t like how Matt changes his ATC-voice in a non natural deep voice to sound cool ... makes him look arrogant, even though I’m sure he isn‘t!
He is a very nice guy. Don't let a deep ATC voice fool you ;)
Had to cut it short due to the extremely annoying music.
You missed out on 32 minutes of flying without music. Too bad.
Thanks for watching!😀
Matt has the worst case of vocal fry Ive ever heard in a pilot. Kind of annoying...
How the hell do they even see out the window with all of those damn cameras. I could handle a camera two at most. Kind of ridiculous.
Please show cabin in detail also
Will do.
Nice GoPro farm above the dash. LOL
