I had just see and commented on the video you posted after her surgery. I am so sorry. In the last four years we have had to say goodbye to our cane corso, who was 8, due to massive heart arrhythmia, and our sweet pitt from stomach cancer, whom we rescued a year and a half earlier virtually on her deathbed. It is so hard to loss our babies, especially when we have to make the hard choice. We had a heeler years ago. Lakota was one of the smartest dogs we have ever seen. Bless you and your family. The hole in your heart may never close, but other babies will come to love you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss I lost my caddy to a stroke and we took her to the vet he told me that they couldn’t do anything for her so we had to let her go I was holding her and telling her I love her over and over until she was gone and we brought her back home to bury her I miss her she was 15years old she had a great life.

The thing that hit me was leaving with house and not telling her bye. And then coming home to a quiet house. My heart hurts for you and your family. We just lost our dog blue healer mix Bo a week ago. We only had him 5 months and knew we were basically a hospice home from his first week with us but we are still super sad :( I had a hard time making my video for him but it also allowed me to have a good cry and helped with my grieving process.
