Considering Plymouth's market place, it was a costly option that many buyers did not take - not unlike the RS Camaro that same model year... not different enough from standard to justify the extra charge.

Great video there George the car is beautiful Plymouth had the grand coupe in the convertible but dodge did not have a challenger SE convertible so it's a very unique unit and the 3/18 yeah like 4 speed is a kicker beautiful car keeper stock is a rock

Good info on the SE convertible, was not aware but maybe the overhead console had something to do with it.

I have owned many Mopars, some Hp engine cars. The small stable I now have they are all 318s and two 360 engines, daily driving the 318 is a great all around engine. I appreciate big block cars but will now just use and rebuild 318 engines and if you optimize them when rebuilding they make great street power while retaining good gas mileage.

318 is all I need. My dad bought his 66 Coronet new with a 273 which I've owned since 2011. I'm also the second owner of a 74 Charger with a 318. Love them both.

Pretty sure that only applied to the big-block multi-carb stuff AND differential selection. Note the 26" rad.
