I do so love your yarnie adventures!! DO make the tweed sweater! It’s a gift for YOU!! DO the edge surgery… and please film each step. You can put it together as a tutorial when you are all done! LOVE the chicklets! Thank you and Debbie for all the hard work and attention to detail included in each day’s bag!!
That tweedy wool would make a great sweater.. it would go with a lot of things… pop extra colours on with your cowls ❤️.. and yes take off that tight edge!😀
Okay, luv that Black Trees Yarn 😍 The Shawl Should go on a life line before picking up as you cut. Flossing works. LOL Good Luck!! I love Day 10 Extra Surprise Jump Ahead Excuse, Hehe~Hoho. I might add All Spice in a Sach fory Ginger Bread Chicklet. I have whole unground ones. Today my Pug is one month from being three!!! I Love making his sweaters. That's the reason I'm even attempting color work and doing Sea Glass, Cardigan because of his Sweater with Graph for his name-A-
Yup, I was ready for 9😮, it's ok. I would do the black. You seem so excited by it. This is why we knit! My LYS day shawl was so tight that when blocking it, I tore a couple of stitches. I think it's a design flaw. Will fook forward to how yours comes out.
I think it would work. You are right that the cast on edge is harder to unravel (it will come out st by st), but not impossible. You could do a small swatch first to try it out.

🐥❤❤❤ your excitement is so apparent when talking about the black yarn go for it sit near a good lamp 😊
Lavender is great for yarn stashes because it keeps the moths away!

Rip it out, definitely. I like your idea. Also, knit what you love. The black will be beautiful 😍.

Use the Alba in that wonderful color. You won't be disappointed.

Go for it with the black! Use a neck light while you knit. You can do it!
Go with the black Alba. It will be lovely.
It would make a beautiful sweater!! Go with your heart, then you will love it and won’t mind knitting it! I made the shawl and loved the yarn!
Did you have any issues with the edging? If so, how did you deal with it?
After thought heel trick would work. Good Luck
Sewing the edge, ripping off the tight edge, and adding an icord edge is a great idea and a wonderful solution.
Fingers crossed!
Go with the color that inspires you. Black tweed it is!
Try the black! It sounds like that's what you would really use and love
That sweater would be wonderful in Alba. I'm weird in that I love knitting with black. My shawl that you demonstrated is in Navy Blue Alba.
The navy is lovely
If you sew the side and then cut it, won't the sewn stitches cause the same concern about not being stretchy?
Curious about what happened to Day 9?
I never even noticed. I didn't realize that it was the 9th today. Thanks for the heads-up.
🥰
for the shawl I would pick up etra stitches first and the remove the top rows and re-knit it and do a cast off in a looser cast off
I started at the top, which, is that unmovable edging, and knit down. Would that still work? Thank you!
