- In this video I wanted to create a relaxing car cleaning experience, where the focus goes on the cleaning process itself with its unique noises and the sounds of nature, without disturbing music and talking, to ultimately represent how a car is getting cleaned.
Steps:

4., Shampoo contact wash

I've got a 2018 520d m sport same colour Mediterranean blue with the ivory Dakota leather interior. Looks like the same type of job I like to do on mine. Name of the game is attention to detail and using good products. Nice job that mate the car looks mint 👌👌

Enjoyed watching this. I used to have the same model. What I hate after spending so much time washing drying & detailing the car and then the English rain pours down 😬 what I need now is double garage so I could just hide it away haha!!

I know what you mean... In another video I’ve had the same thing happening, I couldn’t even completely finish with my BMW, because it started raining... despite of the sunny weather forecast... such a pain. 😅

Most likely we enjoy watching these videos because we are passionate about cars/detailing/cleaning, also these are quite relaxing and satisfying to watch... that’s the only short explanation what I can give as a reason... at least these are my reasons. 🤩
There was no specific reason for the window cleaning products - I just felt like that... 😁
So... I’ve used Rain-X on the windscreen, because I wanted to give a little water repellant boost for it, without risking any kind of smearing/streaking that could cause poor visibility during driving. I’ve used Gyeon Q2M Glass cleaner on the other windows and after that I used P&S Bead Maker, which is a polymer paint protectant/sealant. It never caused me visibility problems on the windows, I could use it on the windscreen as well, but at that very moment I just didn’t want to use it. The possibilities are endless... 😊

Really nice work! I ordered a g31 530d in the same color and wheels! I have the same tire dressing endurance by meguiars and I think that’s a bit too shiny... I prefer a matt finish 👍🏻

If you don’t like the shine, just buff the tyre a little bit with a microfiber towel after application, it won’t be matt, but that’ll give you a nice satin finish. 😊

Can I ask what brand is the noodle microfibre sponge you use on the side of the car.

Is a noodle best on the side of the car? Have a problem with dirt on the sides of the car even after foam and then a wash.
I wouldn’t say that, it’s as effective as the others, it was only a very random choice at that time. 😊
Without seeing those particular contaminants on your very car, it’s quite hard to determine what you’re dealing with. You can try various things, such as more powerful chemicals, like more potent snowfoams or traffic film removers, or you can try a tar remover, iron fallout remover or a clay bar to remove those contaminants. Its not that it's not managing to scrub every little bit and when drying you get a little square of dirt and you have to go again. Think of Father Ted and his dirty window.
@@Johnny_Cass - I know what you mean now; I prefer to use short pile microfibre wash mitts, you can try one of them and you can try to clean your car in straight lines with 50% overlaps. When drying your car, just spray some detail spray or drying aid all over your car to help lubricate the surface and that can also help to safely remove those missed spots. 😊
Where’s the foam? Or is that not made to be foam?
I’ve used Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam, which is not designed as a superficial high foam product, but as a functional material. 😊

Hi, that is the P&S Bead Maker, which is a polymer paint protectant/sealant - it is a really amazing product, it gives a beautiful deep shine and gloss, a silky smooth finish, durable protection and nice beading; it is one of my favourite products. 🤩
