How to Paint Dot Mandalas

- Adding onestroke brushwork to my dot mandalas is my new favorite way to combine two art forms. Still loving fall even though the leaves turned earlier this year due to the drought. We saw great color in our backyard but missed our annual trips to see the Aspens change and fall colors as we are still staying close to home. Did you get to see the leaves change?

@@SweetWillowDsgn Sorry 👍
This is gorgeous! However, I think the crystals detract. Love the finished mandala.

Beautiful colors. Very elegant colors
Love the coma swoosh in two colors. I was a little afraid but out came the card stock and ya fa I did it!
Love it.Looks perfect.
Thank you for the video. I just purchased the pattern and can't wait to try.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Very pretty. I think this would make a great design using Christmas colors, including gold and silver.
Definitely agree. Thanks for watching.
I love the colour mix on those outer branches 🌺
Thank you so much!
Very beautiful, ya leaving the corner blank was a nice idea.
Thank you Sherie. It was definitely best to keep them blank. Thanks so much for watching.
Simply BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you so much Cheryllynn. I'm so glad you enjoyed this design.
Love this pattern and the colors. Thanks.
Thank you!
I love the colour combination!
Thank you Kellie. I get fixated on certain colors so you'll probably see more of this combo. LOL Thanks so much for watching.
Your color choices are always so beautiful! This is so rich and elegant. No need for the corner crystals.
Thanks you Barbara. So glad you enjoyed this painting.
LINDA ! E muito diferente !
It is gorgeous, I love the colors!

MARAVILLOSO !!!! tus trabajos me encantan . Saludos desde Argentina .
Gracias. Tan contenta de que estés viendo desde argentina
Beautiful, love the design and blank corners, enough going on in the design.
Thank you Diane! Blank was better for sure.
I like it plain. Its beautiful!
Thanks so much for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed this video.
This design is so pretty!
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this one.
Beautiful! Love this pattern.
Thank you so much Denise. I’m glad you liked this design. 💚
Thanks Maria! I love it with the crystals. I'm planning to do this with Christmas colors and I think the crystals will add a nice sparkly touch. Beautiful pattern!
Crystals are so pretty. Hope you have fun painting this design.
Totally totally love! I’m also into One Stroke and round brushes are relatively easy to use. Thanks for this beautiful project.
Thank you! I’m loving adding the brushwork. Thanks so much for watching.
Perfeito, amei 👏👏👏
Thank you so much. I’m glad you enjoyed this project.
I love this. Really, really pretty. You've inspired me to get my brushes out again.
Thanks Christine! Get those brushes out. More like this to come.
@@SweetWillowDsgn Fantastic. Thank you for taking time, your effort, and generosity.
Stunning piece, I would maybe put a couple of crystals on the painting and leave the corners bare I think
Thank you. Less is more on this one!
This is so beautiful! Thank you for doing some Fall tutorials. You are so very talented and you explain things very well.❤ I really enjoy watching as you make these beautiful creations. I want to try to make one . I know that takes time. I like your idea of using the brush for the comma strokes rather than a dotting tool it looks like it would be much easier. I'm going to give it a try.😁
Hi Candis. I'm so glad you enjoy the fall tutorials. I'm thinking of the seasons so will do some projects for each season. Do try the brush. I'm not sure it's easier but you can get more types of strokes with a brush. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank You :) ❤it's amazing🥰
Thank you!
Like it better without the crystal. Maybe one in the middle. Just beautiful.
Thank you so much. I liked it better without the crystals too! Thanks so much for watching.
Seus trabalhos são lindos! mais gostaria de saber, se o lápis é aquarelado e vc passa água para limpar os riscos? obg💐😅😍😘
Absolutely beautiful,, love the colours 💖💖 I finished a 16”x 20” a few weeks ago with similar technique, I will post it soon 👌🎨
Thank you Louise! I can’t wait to see your latest. 💚💚💚
Maria, this is beautiful. I see this is Fall #3 and in your etsy shop I see Fall #1 - but I don't see a Fall #2 - is there one? UPDATE: I see your video on the Sunflower mug and that's Fall #2 - Thanks, Heidi
Glad you found that one Heidi. I also have a Seasons - Fall playlist with more fall projects.
I love this design, the colors, how you did it all!! Love the frame, where did you get that, I have several I'd like to frame like that!! Thanks for all you do!!
Hi Kay. The frame came from Michaels craft store. I buy them in a multiple pack. CAUTION: these do not fit a stretched canvas because of the depth of the canvas frame. I used a canvas panel which fits perfectly.
Wow! This is so beautiful, thank you! You make it look easy, and beautiful. It was so relaxing watching your video. I just started practicing a little Zentangle and I found you through Stephanie Bergeron Deliberately Creative.
Hi Marcia, I just went to your etsy page and it says this item is sold out. Any idea when it will be available again?
It would be nice to have the option of just purchasing the pattern. I don’t need all the extra pages. Just a thought.
Hmmm. I could consider that option. Wouldn’t be less expensive. And, I hope you are only printing the pages you need. I want to provide complete patterns for the widest possible range of dotters.
@@SweetWillowDsgn I didn’t realize I could just print the pages I wanted. I’ll give that a try. Thanks.
I purchased this pattern yesterday and can't wait to get started. I love that you incorporated the one-stroke method of painting.
