- Hello Skaters! Today's video is a bit different, I am going to show you how you can use a Hockey Puck to help you develop strength as well as control over your 'free' side. This one is for a more intermediate/advanced skater, so be cautious as you try it! If you would like to learn how to do a Power Pull, you can check that tutorial out here... • How To Do Power Pulls ...

Hi Coach Julia! I'm an adult beginner skater taking group lessons. I've been watching your videos and the way you break down and explain skills is helping me so much! I am nowhere near the skill level needed to do these puck drills, but when I get there, you bet I'll watch again and try it for myself!
Keep working and eventually you will get to this level!
Same here. I just started weekly lessons this past February and have been supplementing with Coach Julia. All the coaches at the rink come up to me to tell me how far I've come these past weeks. I'm really benefiting from all these moves broken down into small components - less overwhelming that way. I find slow motion (like real slow) videos super helpful as well, especially for things like 3-turns.
Fabulous 💃 Julia - I have tried these - they're not as easy as you've made them look 😀 and they REALLY work those muscles! Great for control - keep up the great videos💕
Glad you like them! Yes, these are really challenging, but I think they are a good challenge!
So excited for the app! ♥️♥️
Yay!
thanks ! so useful
What a great idea. Can't wait to try it. Working hard to build some muscles. Your videos are the best😃💕
Muscle build is so important! I hope these go well for you!
this is the first time you’ve made something look hard hahaha!! so excited to get to this point someday
Yeah, these are tough! 😆
I love Your videos they helped me to improve so much!
Glad you like them!
It's really cool though it is beyond me. Love everything coach Julia presents~~
Awe, I appreciate that! Keep practicing and maybe one day this will be your level!
My cat passed away today. I really like your videos because they always help when I'm sad. Thanks for posting
Awe, I am so sorry to hear about your Cat.
Hi Coach, just joined your site to thank you for all I've learned over the last years. For less than a gallon of gas, all subscribers should look inward and also join and help out the Coach. Now my two cents, if the rink doesn't allow a hockey puck, just "forget" to take off your skate guard. Thanks Coach Julia!
I appreciate your support so much! And what great idea with the skate guard!!
@@CoachJulia Thanks Coach, lucky me got ice time this afternoon!
I got all my single jumps, besides axel!!! SO happy!
Good for you! Congrats!
I just joined it... I woukd love to try your app too. 👏🏽👏🏽❤️
Awesome!!! Thank you so much!

Doing stuff with a hockey puck is hard. I would much rather do this though, then field moves.
I might want to try this but my rink doesn't allow hockey pucks :(
Awe, bummer!
Mine doesn't for open skate, but often a hockey player will find one and throw it on the ice. It give me something I can do with it I guess!
Woww I really want to Thank you for the video, I am sure it's going to help me to improve my left forward inside three turn.
Kind Regards from Mexico🙂💌🌎⛸
Best of luck!
