- There are some denominations that teach that believers can be cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth; being damned. This is due to a lack of understanding of the differences between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

This verse has always confused and frightened me. Thank you, brother, for clearing it up.
Unfortunately, Mr. Pearl still never gave an adequate answer. Read Matthew 8:12 carefully, "while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness." He is correct in that there are different kingdoms; but these are the offspring of the Millennial humans that end up rebelling when satan is release at the end of the 1,000 year reign with Christ.

@@JohnSmith-df5kp You are absolutely right about this. The Scripture surrounding a verse helps explain its meaning. In a previous verse (Matthew 8:9), the centurion says this: "For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it." He is literally comparing Jesus to an authoritative commander, like a king. Christ will rule with absolute authority and with "a rod of iron" during the millennium. Jesus was alluding to this in his response, when the whole earth will be in subjection to/serving him, as the servant obeys the centurion.
Psalm 2 is about the rebellion during Christ's millennial reign. In this chapter, those not wanting to serve Christ talk about breaking out of "their bands/cords" (verse 3)...this is when the devil deceives them into thinking servitude is slavery, when actually the devil is the one who wants to enslave them. And verse 12 of Psalm 2 refers to those perishing from the kingdom, the same as verse 12 of Matthew talks about it. I have found when studying the Scriptures that even a lot of verse numbers correspond to other similar verses. The Bible is like a puzzle that God wants us to study and put together. :) It's awesome!

I have learned a lot from corresponding verse searching.. like the Ark being God's Footstool on Earth, Jesus blood water mixed with the Earth when he was crucified and the Spirit of God bore witness to his sacrifice and because of this Jesus became our daily Sacrifice for Sins and repentance.. and how when this is made desolate when its found and the man of sin sits himself on the Mercy seat (Brusing Christ's Heel) he's going to Stomp on His head.. not just his but all of the serpents Seed will be removed from This Earth and the Dragon will be locked up so he cannot tempt during the Kingdom until he is let loose during the 1000 year reign to cause the rebellion

I've heard a few people mention there is a difference between the kingdoms, but those few always gave explanations that boiled down to "of course they're different, one says heaven one says God" and never say what makes one different from the other. You're the first I've heard who actually explains it. Thank you VERY much. ❤

I just ordered 2 copies of your book 1 for me & 1 for my Pastor. I’ve tried to figure out the meaning of this verse & you lay it all out in simplicity that even this 72 year old can understand.
This is one of those concepts my brain is too small for to fathom, but I’m glad I got exposed to this teaching. I bought the book about the eight kingdoms years ago.
Just the other day I was reading about people in the kingdom being cast out in outer darkness. And I totally forgot about this teaching. I’m glad I could get reminded of it again.
It is safer for me to believe as a child, but I do try to challenge myself lately more.
Great teaching, I am so glad that Holy Spirit teaches us as well, but I need to take more responsibility for knowing and having the knowledge of God.

I am of the mind from what I see and the prophesies of the Bible that we are on the cusp of Daniels seventieth week and Gods wrath being poured out, which means our blessed hope is at hand, the rapture could be any day now so be encouraged all you born again believers and look up and be eagerly awaiting our Lords appearing in the clouds, there is a crown of righteousness for all those awaiting his appearing.

I'm so blessed to find your channel I've been looking for the truth and have been to a lot of churches and find I'm not comfortable, ending up with more questions than they have answers that make sense. I turned back to God wanting joy in truth. My simple mind is finding the churches have different teachings than the King James even when they use the KJV. I have this book, “The Eight Kingdoms,” and I tell you, it’s the key to unlocking the scriptures! The layout has been done by Michael Pearl with the heart of a teacher: scripture passages are graphed and arranged in a manner that makes study fascinating and actually quite fun. The cruel manners in which the Word of God used in ignorance or as a weapon have caused untold damage. I have a friend whose daughter committed suicide, and a visiting preacher told my friend that the daughter, who I believe was saved, was in hell. He did not understand the kingdom of God, yet, as an authority, told Miss Emma that her daughter was in hell forever. For years my friend was tormented, until someone who understood their Bible made it clear to her.
I recommend this book as a gift also for any seminary graduate.

Thank you for this information. Interesting subject. There’s a guy who wrote a book saying that Christians could go to hell for a thousand years during the reign of Christ. He said that being with Christ here on earth during this time is like winning a prize. And if you don’t win the prize you will go to hell during this time and then after it’s over you will be taken out of hell and then go to heaven. And he was talking about Christians only and not talking about the damned. I wish I could remember his name or the name of the book. I seen him talk about it on a video and thought it was complete nonsense. God bless you.
I am a simple man and I Fear the LORD God ALMIGHTY but am counting on the Lord our God Jesus Christ to Save me and I believe one Day I will see God Almighty my Father and that when I do I will see JESUS the very CHRIST. This is what I have been given. What makes me sad is that the known Churches don't like me and have casted me out of their presence because I know God as Jesus but they say being the Baptist Church that jehovah-jireh is their provider but I don't know the LORD by that name only Jesus. Most people just don't like me even mine own family. you got people who disregard the lord and have a life completely for themselves (which is not a relationship) and you have people that are VERY avid religiously but bank on their works to save them instead of the sons blood. both of these get cast into outer darkness just like complete unbelievers due to complete disregard or minimizing his sacrifice.

The "eight kingdoms" book is excellent
The kingdom (the kingdom that we're supposed to pray for God the Father to bring) begins small and not visible like leaven and a small mustard seed. Then the kingdom grows to encompass the whole earth. If there is outer darkness then it has not *yet encompassed the whole earth. The passage in Matthew 8 is talking about a time when God's Kingdom comes to earth as a small mustard seed/leaven/pearl of great price.
Not everyone who says to Me Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven.
Why didn't God just make things more straightforward instead of making people have a logical mind, and having to jump from book to book, to decipher all these things? Why couldn't he have been complete in meaning within a given passage and explain it clearly?
