    Looks exactly like my 1999
    Pathfinder. Also, just two owners
Me and my mother-in-law. Less than
200000 miles. I've had hondas and volvos. I love these vehicles--well made and reliable.
    Nice presentation.

    2005+ has the 4.0 VQ40DE. The 2001.5-2004 have the VQ35DE.

The VQ and VG engines are good with their relative strengths & weaknesses. The VG33E is a stout engine with not as much hp/tq numbers but it's tried and true. The VQ35DE introduced more power and torque but you really had to keep on top of using quality fuel and quality oil (changed regularly) because it could be picky the the VVT system and the EVAP system and is notorious for the oil cooler o-ring causing leak & leaking valve cover. The VQ40DE had oil leak and oil pressure issues and a lot of owners had the notorious timing chain issues causing all kinds of problems.

Excellent review. I owned an older Pathfinder back in the day and I would like to get another one. Consumer Reports rates the 1993 model very high. However, this one looks absolutely immaculate and I wish I still lived in Pasadena LOL.

These are slept on as a good used/reliable vehicles. Given gas prices today they are thirsty and expensive for transport costs but if you score one cheap in decent condition they are kind of hard to beat for the overall value.

They didn't put 3.5 in pathfinder until 2013. There was 4.0 in 05 which was a great truck

3.5 was put in much earlier than 2013 in the Pathfinders. It was introduced in 2001.
